01.01.2022 Piper and 29yrs young Monte having their first free trot! An awesome story, Monte had been a racehorse , a show horse and then a retired paddock ornament for 3 years before I came to give Piper her first beginner lesson on her birthday! The Pony we used wasnt quite right and then I spotted this big guy hanging over the fence in a little yard and pulled him out on a gut feeling. The next week he was strutting his stuff and has been strengthening and getting happier every ride... Sometimes we just aren't ready to stop going to work and he has taught Piper so much already, we are super grateful #youngatheart #babysitter #beginnertowinner #teamjde #jessicaderksequestrian
