25.01.2022 Happy World Crocodile Day to all the awesome crocodiles out there.

24.01.2022 In a time when our planet is faced with many crises right now, I would like to celebrate World Environment day. People are doing it tough and there are many is...sues faced by us all - a pandemic, racial outcry, climate change and the list goes on. But one thing that has come to light since the world stopped for COVID-19....many natural wonders were given an opportunity to recover. As we all stood still and ceased pumping horrendous toxic emissions into the air (even just briefly).....we actually gave living things an opportunity to once again breathe. Breathe in the freshness and life filling air that should be a certainty for all living things. We have watched as creatures great and small have returned to areas that they were once known from. Provided with an opportunity to reproduce because they were not surrounded by the usual tonnes of rubbish or by the hundreds of thousands of people on the streets/beaches/rivers or the pollution in their waters. For one short moment......living things were given an opportunity to survive. Wouldn't it be amazing if we all took a moment and remembered right now. And post-covid, we don't return to our wicked ways of consumerism but can re-think our everyday choices in life? We are better than this and we owe it to ourselves and our future. HAPPY WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY and remember please be kind and stay safe.

19.01.2022 Check out this video one of the amazing and very talented staff members from St Peters Lutheran College at Springfield made. Such an amazing school. The students and teachers were awesome! #lovemyjob

16.01.2022 No words needed here. I’ll leave you with this thought to ponder

15.01.2022 This is exactly what I love to do on my day off. 13km Bush walk up at Springbrook. Such a beautiful part of the world.

14.01.2022 I’d better keep scissors away from Ernie our Gang Gang cockatoo. He definately has a hit list.

11.01.2022 Cuddles with Kevin our Frill-necked lizard.

10.01.2022 Another super fun party yesterday celebrating Eddies 10th birthday. Another gorgeous family with a great bunch of kids. It’s so nice being able to get back into doing what we absolutely love.... If anyone would like to book one of our interactive and hands on Wildlife Parties, please get in touch with us.

10.01.2022 One of our Spiny Leaf insects munching on their fresh gum leaves. So cool to watch.

10.01.2022 Check out Banjo our Ring Tail Possums drey. I couldn’t even find him this morning. I love it how they just know how to make it.... Ring tail possums build a nest called a drey to sleep in our of leaves and sticks. Therefore they don’t need to rely on tree hollows. Nature is amazing.

09.01.2022 The kids had a blast with all the animals at BigTop Playhouse! Thanks for sharing your birthday with us Abigail!

08.01.2022 I had a great time today educating the year 2 students at St Peters Lutheran school in Springfield. I love watching the kids expressions on their face and their excitement when they touch an animal for the first time. Our shows offer a hands on experience that the kids will never forget.... Education is the key to conservation.

07.01.2022 It’s so so nice being able to help kids celebrate their birthday parties with our beautiful animals. I had the best time at Maisee’s party today. Check out Twinkles our Squirrel glider who was snuggled up inside Maisee’s overalls. Such a beautiful family

06.01.2022 It’s Tawny Time! A guide on whether to intervene or not. It’s now time for young Tawny frogmouths to leave the nest. They will be learning to fly and hunt... during the night with their parents. It is normal for older babies to be on the ground occasionally when they are learning to fly. However if it is a nestling (white fluffball), on the ground, it needs to be picked up, placed gently in a cardboard box and immediately, please then call our 24/7 Hotline for assistance. 5527 2444

04.01.2022 One day Curly will learn that she’s a bird and not a dog. She loves being out of her aviary and hanging with our dogs. She even chases our kelpie when he chases the ball.... She cracks me up constantly.
