22.01.2022 This is only possible due to years of dedication by scientists, conservationists, carers, and the folks that donated to make it happen. Huge cheers. A magnificent effort. https://www.facebook.com/100614418338/posts/10157871208528339/?d=n

12.01.2022 Such horrendous and callous actions from Rockhampton Council. Just devastating for the local wildlife carers and conservationists. If this event has impacted you, please remember we’re here for today and everyday. 1300 307 111 24/7... https://www.abc.net.au//mothers-abandon-baby-bats/12968564

11.01.2022 ***Thank You Sunday!*** How amazing is wildlife? We all think it's pretty great. Here is classic faceoff between someone wanting a fed and another protecting the family. It's not often we get to see this side of things. And we hope the cockatoo and magpie successfully defended their families against the intruder.... Thank you to EVERYONE defending our wildlife. You are superstars! Call 130 0307 111 if you every need support. https://fb.watch/1m4mMtKyYH/

09.01.2022 Kangaroos are social animals and the males get very protective of their family groups. Behind the scenes WildTalk contributes to the campaigns to save the Kinley Roos, the koala habitats uder threat on the mid and north coasts and whenever somethings comes up. Why do we do this? In every case we have received calls from locals volunteers, workers and/or residents about their concerns. Of course, client data is ALWAYS kept absolutely confidential, but the mental health impac...t of these decisions is rarely taken into account. We will defend you and fight for you. You are our mob. 1300 307 111 anytime. https://www.facebook.com/809056279106887/posts/3716875128324973/?vh=e&d=n

07.01.2022 If you’re interested in doing your bit for the insects, please have a read of this... https://www.facebook.com/1485185251762708/posts/2833686486912571/?d=n

07.01.2022 To anyone feeding Magpies. Don't, unless you have undergone training or at least read a book about their dietary needs. A diet of mince has the potential to cause catastrophic problems. If you are interested in befriending your local magpies with morsels, please contact your local rescue for how best to do that.... This makes carers sad. Call 1300 307 111 anytime if you're feeling the weight of other's actions. https://www.facebook.com//a.42474898432/1646658702136539/

06.01.2022 There are often posts in community groups asking: 'Is this a cane toad!?' followed by a load of comments, some helpful, some not so, and some downright nasty. Our native frogs are a great sign of a healthy environment and waterways and they need all the help they can get.... Like frogs, those that look after wildlife need all the help they can get. We're here to help support their mental resilience and welllbeing, because, well, you know, they're the best! 1300 307 111 anytime https://www.facebook.com//a.4066204983/10157799848123339/

02.01.2022 Just look at those brown eyes. Snakes get their unfair share of vitriol. When really all they want to do is get on with their thing, eat, and stay away from humans. Sadly humans have this mythology about snakes being bad. They really aren’t and those that care for them, relocate them, and deal with even the most venomous amoungst them will say: they really don’t want to bite you, they just want you to leave them alone.... If you’re feeling the heat and just want to be left alone, please reach out to WildTalk. We’re here at anytime on 1300 307 111 _________________________ Mulga posted with permission Adam Brice Wild Nature (check out his stuff, it’s amazing)
