15.01.2022 This was written Dustin at the "Grateful Dread lock Shop" in Hawaii whom is an amazing Loctician and who has done work on my locks In an effort to encourage someone to keep their baby dreads rather than lop them off out of early stage frustration, I offered this up... And found it befitting enough to share here as advice to anyone else in early stage despair: "There is but one guiding principle for growing dreadlocks... and I have a strong inclination to believe you already... know what that is. If you wish to endure this test, carry on. If you do not believe you have the constitution to endure by this principle, end your perceived suffering and return to normalcy. Just remember... each of us is capable of far more than we give ourselves credit, and a test of faith might be just what the metaphysical doctor ordered! Hang in there.
