19.01.2022 This Dude .... Yesterday, come out for a run and I let him have a steer and he had such a great ride he outright refused to leave the boat. At the first attempt to remove him he refused to come off his seat. Second attempt’ kicking and screaming he refused to leave again as he held on to the handrails on the boat..... then onto the handrails on the ramp up to the Quay’ they eventually pried him off by his little feet while he held on protesting with projectile tears how he ...wanted to go again. He broke free three times from his family’s grip and ran back to the boat as all the onlookers watched on with me. I turned to them and said another happy customer! We spoke to him together while he cried and his calming Mother said to him if we go now we can come back tomorrow That worked. Guess who was first cab off the rank this morning haha, they brought the rest of the family too. I Won’t forget the handrail master in a hurry little Neon Leion see you again next time son! See more

Henries Roof Top Bar always has a crowd and is always pumping and has a fantastic view West down river and of Kings Park. 05.01.2022 Yesterday we gave a trip away to Carnac Island and the lucky winner was Robert. Roberts wife Linda who was in America seen the post on FB and selected her husband. She stated that due to Covid 19 he has been stuck in Perth due to work commitments and has not seen his wife or mother for 9 months. Being an existing customer I decided he should get the spot and he enjoyed the day out with us. I remember Roberts mother a couple of years ago’ Beryl (pictured) she was a cheeky one at the the tender age of 90. She pretended that she couldn’t hear my safety speech 3 time and made me get closer and closer and when I was face to face with her she nearly nipped my ear and said why are you yelling Beryl, you get a feee trip too when you can eventually get back home from the USA. 04.01.2022 Our Island in Elizabeth Quay is one of the very best places to meet in Perth City. The Island has fantastic food that is all Australian sourced and very well priced, they brew their own unique beers in house as well. On a warm balmy night to sit out side on the Swing and watch the day turn into night is amazing with undoubtedly the best view of the CBD to the north. To watch Perth City light up when the sun sets is simply sensational and a Wild West Favourite! Guaranteed fantastic service with employees that have nationalities from all over the world. 03.01.2022 Great news! I thought that this season was a’mis with the Kings Park Ospreys that nest high above in the pines at Quarry Point as they have for the last 3 years. The nest was empty and in disarray all through September when we would normally see them incubating their eggs however today I observed one of them carrying material while the other stayed up to rearrange and re-position. In this vid you can see the Osprey snap off a twig mid flight and fly it up for the other to adjust into the nest. Very cool I’m a happy man! Hopefully the Kings Park Crows don’t cause havoc with the eggs and chicks again..... Bloody crows!

03.01.2022 Some exciting news for WWC we have a new vessel coming down from Darwin that WWC is going to apply a dedicated run daily to Carnac Island to view the majestic Australian Sea Lions. Much work to be done organising new mammalian interaction permits, board walk permits, maintenance and survey requirements when she arrives. The team is very excited to go into phase three but a third boat would not be possible with out the dedicated team members past and present. Thanks to all those that have helped on this journey! 02.01.2022 The Oyster Bar affectionately known to us as the O.B. has always had a very close relationship with Wild West Charters - we send them up and they send them down ! We love the staff in the OB, very well priced tasty food, fantastic pacific oysters served in many succulent ways. It’s not just about seafood either, try the ploughman’s platter or there ice cold Swanny-D. This Tuesday Melbourne Cup day we all know where we are going to be.
