25.01.2022 The Yellow Owlfly - Suhpalacsa flavipes. While they initially look like dragonflies, the owlflies are noteable because they rest with their wings folded down like this one.

03.01.2022 I can't believe the variety of moths and butterflies in Yuraygir National Park. There are countless 'heath moths' and a huge variety of others as well. As with everything else, please comment or email me if I have made errors in identification. Some are taken at my home which is right next to the National Park but theoretically not 'in' it. I have done this because finding these moths at night within the actual park is nigh impossible. #australianbutterflies #australianmoths #lepidoptera #yuraygirnationalpark #wooli
