Yes, mandatory. That means it doesn't matter if you were late for work, didn't see the sign, don't believe that it should be 40, have a sick dog, mum, dad, child, sister or friend. Mandatory means MANDATORY. Can't say it any clearer. Here are the MANDATORY suspension periods for speeding: 3 months for 25 km/hour or more over the limit 6 months for 35 km/hour or more over the limit 12 months for 45 km/hour or more over the limit.
