24.01.2022 Appreciation, Celebration and Thankyou post Wilko’s Scrap Metal celebrates 6yrs in our Cobram yard this week and over 15yrs in the scrap metal industry Paul and l both love what we do (at times it is stressful but that’s the joys of running your own business), but we couldn’t do it without the support of family, pauls dad and uncle at the top of the list you guys are the best and future recycling and all the guys (and Josie and eb) we appreciate all you do for us ... And now to the most important people our customers we wouldn’t have a business without you guys, many of you have supplied us with your scrap for years and for that we are so grateful, and to everyone that sell us cars, non- ferrous or got paul to do farm cleanups we are so grateful and to the customers that have had to wait because we are running behind (which I’m afraid happens ) not through laziness but being extremely busy the guys do work as hard and fast and they can we apologise and thankyou for working with us. Over the years our family has grown so much (trucks machinery etc our all our family ) , l remember one of pauls trucks when we first started we use to sit on newspaper because the seats would get so hot from the motor it would burn our b..ms Paul and l have many stories some good some not so good lol paul now loves all his trucks believe me lol I read a post last night and it made me think yes our business has grown we have added excavator and trucks but its through hard work and many sleepless nights always thinking have you done the right thing, I think we have and look forward to the next 15+yrs doing what we love being a scrappy family

19.01.2022 The guys are doing a pretty big farm cleanup, love that it’s 3 generations dad, son and grandson working together, at the end of the day they are so dirty and dusty but shower dinner they are ready to start again tommorow, for any farm cleanups this is the team to get WILKOS SCRAP METAL

09.01.2022 Hook truck coming along nicely, big thanks to Mark and the guys at Cobram Panel Works for the paint job hook gear next to go on, still a fair bit to do but Paul puts in huge hours so can’t wait to see it finished, bins need a paint and truck needs sign writing and then we will be ready to go #wilkosscrapmetalhooktruck

01.01.2022 The last 6months + have been tough for everyone, stressful both financially and emotionally, our biggest headache for us is getting behind on jobs, for me it’s ...hard as I am the first contact for most people and paul it’s the working all hours of the day to get jobs done, but today l had a smile it’s the little things that make your day the appreciation from a company we have supported for many years future recycling it’s not just a box of biscuits it’s the thought, for there suppliers, just what we needed today and the support goes both ways we appreciate the support you give us See more
