21.01.2022 Looking back at old work can be a rewarding and perspective changing experience. Stumbled across this photo of @karenbravo.g dancing with @digitalafrika for a tantalising crowd at #meredithmusicfestival and couldn’t see beyond its mistakes and how it is slightly miss-focused. But now I see the power in the performance and the motion in the dance and I believe this photo represents that well. Wishing I could teleport myself back to this special moment.

19.01.2022 I’m very proud to present @liveat.thegrove a YouTube series showcasing the talented musicians that Melbourne has to offer. It has been such an amazing experience to capture these live stream performances with the legendary @nick_herrera_production and @joli.vis and we hope to produce many more in the future. 13.01.2022 Been a while since I’ve had a cheeky mosh. Thanks @a.swayzeandtheghosts for the good times!

13.01.2022 Over the last couple of months I’ve had the opportunity to capture @australianecosystemsnative wetland nursery. While very distant from a lot of my other work, This is up there with one of my favourite jobs. The nursery is one of the largest native nursery’s in Victoria and grows a number of interesting and exciting species as well as many we would see everyday. The nursery also has its own seed bank which I couldn’t help but get lost in its rows of seed containers. I thought I would share some of my work and the magic that happens at this place. Hope you like them.

07.01.2022 Lake Mungo is a dry and is one of the most important early Aboriginal sites. The region was inhabited by the Aboriginal People of the the Paakantji, Mutthi Mutthi and Ngyimpaa for the past 50000 years. The paradise that was Lake Mungo became arid and the lake dried up due to soil erosion over the last 16000 years, only being made worse since the 1800’s by vegetation depletion from sheep grazing and rabbit plagues. This has left a 25 kilometre lunette, that stretches along the edge of the lake, and today is known as the Walls of China

03.01.2022 It’s hard to believe so much has happened this year. It’s almost feels like a lifetime ago that the bushfires ravaged through Australia. However for some who lost their homes and livelihood it must feel like only yesterday. I can’t imagine what it would be like for some people who just survived such a disaster to now have to bare through covid. I can’t help thinking about how much the world has changed. How we can’t fully understand the changes in this world until we need to guide and adapt our way through its changes. However even if this world goes back to ‘normal’ I can never fully go back to that world as I am not that same person, now that all this change has happened in me. These photos were taken February this year, Kangaroo Valley. @ Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales
