22.01.2022 This is Melissa She has lived in this tunnel down at Wentworth Park for 6 months after being involved in a vehicle accident and no longer being able to afford her rent. Homelessness is extremely tough, and it can be especially frightening for women. There are over 165,000 women aged 45-55 in Australia who are currently at risk of becoming homeless. Our mission at Will2Live is to be there when they need us, to provide the simple comfort of a nourishing bite to eat, a friendly listening ear or a shoulder to lean on

22.01.2022 WILL2LIVE looks a little different these days. There is no BBQ at Central Station at the moment. However, we are still providing meals each night to Sydney’s homeless. A big thank you to Susquehanna Pacific for contributing a large quantity of pre-prepared meals each day so we can keep serving. Like so many others we are adapting but not stopping. If you would like to help donate here (https://www.mycause.com.au/pa/226974/will2live-covid-appeal) #everyonedeservesamealtonight

19.01.2022 Changes to how we operate.. As a result of the Coronavirus situation, we have had to make changes to how we operate. We are no longer cooking the nightly BBQ. Instead, We are delivering pre-packages meals to so many people as I can. For now our volunteers will have to stay at home, but rest assured we will be back out there as soon as we can. Stay tuned and stay safe.... WILL2LIVE team <3 See more

19.01.2022 This beautiful portrait of Ronni Kahn was painted by one of our youngest volunteers. She is an inspiration to us all. No matter what your age, we can all give what's in our hearts <3 I received an email today from the father of a little girl called Ruby. I met her and her parents 2 years ago at talk I did for kids. Ruby went on to watch the film ‘Food Fighter’, and got inspired to learn more about @ozharvest. She then started volunteering each week for @will2live_charity, one of the incredible charities supported by OzHarvest. Ruby is all of 10 years old! Today she sent me the portrait she painted of me for the Wallenberg Portrait Competition. How special is this! Ruby, thank you for choosing me to express your artistic talent. But most of all, your call to action has inspired and thrilled my day, my week

18.01.2022 WILL2LIVE made it on the news again. Channel 9 did a short interview with CEO Will Hawes showing his dedication and commitment to feeding the peeps on the street 7 days a week. The Covid-19 crisis has affected our regular distribution but we have adapted to keep the wheels turning. Every dollar donated goes directly towards helping those on the street doing it tough <3

18.01.2022 Want to help but can't volunteer? How about taking a donation box to your workplace or local cafe. PM us for more information.

17.01.2022 Big shout out to Bar Zini Pyrmont for donating all these meals for our friends on the street. If you're in the area, please support this amazing cafe. See you next week!! :-)

14.01.2022 Did you know as of July an estimate of 116,000 people were experiencing homelessness in Australia. Helping people living below the poverty line is what we do!

14.01.2022 Please support this wonderful cause! <3 It’s my big 40 this year and thanks to Covid there will be no big celebrations ... however .... in place of having a get together at the pub... let’s all get together and raise some money to help Will2live continue helping those less fortunate than us Xx

13.01.2022 Will2Live serves up more than 1000 meals a week at Central Station, Wentworth Park and Lilyfield for those most vulnerable.

13.01.2022 Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person. Anonymous.

12.01.2022 We're starting the bbq and tea and coffee service next week!! (9th of November) After 8 long months of handling out food packs, it'll be good to get back to some normality. If you are interested in volunteering, get in touch... WILL2LIVE team <3

07.01.2022 A study cited by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) found that 31% of homeless people experienced a mental health problem. Of these, about half had a mental health problem before they became homeless, and the remainder developed mental health problems following homelessness. #WorldMentalHealthDay is here to remind everyone to be kind, reach out and support each other. Next time you walk past someone sleeping rough, treat them with kindness and respect. Don’t look the other way

05.01.2022 The nights are getting colder Luckily our BBQ is always hot! Find us every weeknight serving up meals and smiles at Pitt St near Central Station
