24.01.2022 Wow a major turning point for our club is happening today thanks to the overwhelming generosity from Buckleys Earthmoving & Paving. The construction of our Just... For Kids loop is getting done, our carpark is being cleared and our Supercross track is being brought back into shape. Can't thank Terri, Jacko and Steen enough.

We have Jayden Rykers coming up to do a 2 day clinic for you to improve your motocross and dirt biking skills. Jayden is a well established racer with multiple WA junior state titles as well as senior state titles in WA, New South Wales and is the current Victorian 450 Champion. 21.01.2022 Wow we just got another fantastic donation for the Motopark. Fred was very happy to help out with a brand new submersible pump as the old one is beyond repair.... Once we get this bad boy in we can have wet dirt and no dust. The wet dirt will also make the just for kids loop easier and much more fun Loving the community support

19.01.2022 We made some fantastic progress this weekend with some fantastic people that put in their time so we can get this project up and running. Everyone got stuck in... and got a few things finished, our wash bay is set up, 10 start gates back up and working perfect, 2 garden beds planted, more fluro lights in the pits, the main building was cleaned and repaired. The training compound is taking shape. More tyres around the kids loop ,The supercross track had some changes and a bit was done on the motocross circuit aswell. We also had new lights put in thanks to Wattnow Electrical Derby & Bulldogs Electrical Broome. Thanks again to Peter, Jess, Steen, Kevin, Clint, Bec, Sebastian, Leuwin ,Ben and Harry Buckleys Earthmoving and Paving for the loader, certainly makes the track work easier. The boys even got time in for some laps. We also found an old pic under a couch. Wasn't many buildings then.

18.01.2022 Great couple of days with some keen dirtbikers. It was good to have Jayden Rykers for a couple of days at the motopark. The riders got a heap of time on the bik...es and they were tested but certainly learnt new skills. Thanks to everyone that made it to the motopark and supporting us. 13.01.2022 More fantastic support from the crew at Fire and Safety Services on Clementson st. Now our hoses will reach more of the tracks and a ripper of a nozzle it will be fun soaking the dry dirt.

12.01.2022 Our supercross track in it's first stages. One of our sections, set of 6 then bigger set of 4. Next time we will have tweaked it and are adding water. Those that rode it sure had fun even that it was dry.

10.01.2022 We are having a busy bee on Saturday September 19 and Ride Day Sunday September 20 at Derby Motopark. And we would love to get more of the community involved. I...f you can help us with any of the following we will sign you and your family up as a club members. Then you will be able use this facility and come on planned rides. This is a win win situation and will help get our Motopark up and running. Planting/Gardening Painting/Cleaning Welding/Grinding Moving/Stacking tyres Bobcat work Plumbing/Repairs Electrical Repairs Fencing Reticulation and plenty of general stuff to do. We will put on a BBQ lunch so if you are going to come along please comment below.

10.01.2022 Another piece of the puzzle in place. Today we have got the water back on with the pump donated from Alfred Sing.(had to hit him up again today for a couple of ...fittings too) Thanks also to Damo from Energy Applications who travelled up from Broome and donated his time and expertise. Water on the track is invaluable and will be awesome for our upcoming busybee/ride weekend and Coaching/2 day ride. We have also been very lucky to have Buckleys Earthmoving and Paving giving the Motopark massive support. Not only have they sorted out our tracks we now have a new flash parking area. Cant wait to see this parking area full of happy people enjoying the facility.

01.01.2022 Had some success this arvo, brought up the faulty pump from 15 meters down and got the retic pump disconnected. Both are being overhauled before being refit. Fairly smelly job but once the pumphouse is back up and running the tracks will be great.
