17.01.2022 When the settlers started to traverse the Blue Mountains, they first called the Jamison Valley The Amphitheatre.

17.01.2022 The Berghofers Pass had been used as a road used cars when they were first used in Australia in 1909. As their engine were not powerful enough to climb Mount Victoria Pass. The cars had to be pulled up by horses. A new road was needed. It was a member of the the Blue Mountains Council in 1907, J.W Berghofer, who found the the plans of the old construction road used in the construction of the Victoria Pass viaduct. It did make it easier for the cars to climb into the mountains The only problem was the tight, and extremely sharp bends and turns. Since the cars are able to use the Mount Victoria pass. The Berghofer Pass is now an easy, and pleasant walk for the bushwalker, who likes to take their time and enjoy the view without the workout.
