22.01.2022 What a wonderful story on so many levels. Thankyou Katie Dawson for sharing it x
21.01.2022 We are thinking of so many at the moment...especially quilters we have met on the South Coast of NSW, Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Cooma, Ulladulla and more. And thoughts to all our neighbours in Victoria and closer to home in Kangaroo Island and the Adelaide Hills https://williammorrisandmichele.blogspot.com//feelings.html
20.01.2022 This is UK time but very exciting none the less!
18.01.2022 A wonderful lady who gave us such a great understanding of William Morris.......may she rest in Morris' earthly Paradise
17.01.2022 Our hearts are breaking as we continue to hear the ongoing news of more devastating bushfires. I am especially thinking of those of you that I met four years ago when I had the most wonderful time in Cobargo....I cannot comprehend what you are all going through at the moment. It was so lush and green back then as my blog post at the time showed. We are so sorry for so many Sending loving thoughts to everyone xxx
14.01.2022 The quilt is finally complete and all done in less than 5 weeks! You can read more on the blog and congratulations to Chris O'Brien for coming up with the name of the quilt......"Bee Mindful". Tim from Lloyd Curzon Textiles selected the final title so now it is time to get the instructions all written for pattern release in a few weeks! https://williammorrisandmichele.blogspot.com//ta-da-part-t
12.01.2022 Ta Da..... the appliquéd quilt top is finished!! With grateful thanks to the helpers who kick started it all I can now say it is ready to be quilted next week with award winning long-arm quilter Judy Simcock of Cornerstone Creations who is also donating her time. Lots of people have asked if the pattern will be available and the answer is YES as this is a bushfire/wildlife fundraiser...not only to raffle the quilt but also for pattern, kit and BOM sales! I am going to redraw ...several blocks though including the glider possum tail that looks like a bolt of lightening (!!) and some bird details like tails that should be up and not down.......and some flower and bee changes too! Possibly too much haste but I think we have broken a world record for an appliquéd quilt in a month!! More info from Lloyd Curzon Textiles soon https://williammorrisandmichele.blogspot.com//02/ta-da.html See more

08.01.2022 Australia and Adelaide where we live is experiencing the hottest heatwave on record and there are still out of control bushfires. This is the saddest of events from last night and they are true Aussie heroes
