05.01.2022 COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Dear Patients, In accordance with the recent announcement of Level 3 restrictions associated with the Coronavirus outbreak, general dental practice being an essential service will remain open for business but under limited services. The measures have been put into place to minimise the risk to our patients, their families and our staff. We understand our responsibility as part of the healthcare sector to do our part to help flatten the curve Our aim... is to still service the community in order to reduce the overload of patients presenting to the already strained hospitals with dental related problems. Unfortunately at this stage, all routine examinations and treatment will need to be deferred. To meet regulations, we are able to continue to provide care for those who require emergency or urgent treatment. Every patient who has any dental concerns will be triaged to see if they meet the criteria as set out by the Dental Practice Board for treatment. Although we would love to be able to address all patients, we hope you understand that due strict guidelines this may not be possible at this present moment. We are screening all patients for symptoms who attend our clinic. Along with our routine high standard infection-control protocols, we will be implementing further precautions among which are single-use gowns for treating staff.
