05.01.2022 This amazing photo of a wolf spider was snapped in a Woy Woy Bay garden this week. The photographer, Michael Doe, estimates there are around 100 spiderlings cl...inging onto mum. It was initially thought she'd eventually be eaten by her babies...but David Bock from the Australian Museum has confirmed this isn't the case with wolf spiders, but is with the crab spider. It's called matriphagy.
