16.01.2022 Dear Williams Landing Tennis Club members. Over the last fortnight, the club has been in regular dialog with council about when and how we can return to the courts. This has included the need for the club to enter into a new license agreement, submit a return to play plan and outline our health and safety protocols. As you can appreciate this takes a bit of work. We are now pleased to announce that we have just received approval from Council to recommence play. Members will b...e able to commence play from tomorrow. Attached is our formal return to play guidelines which are applicable to all players. Please take the time to read and understand the document, however at a high level they key items to note are: 1.social distancing is still required to be adhered to. 2 You must not play if you are unwell 3. when booking a court, you will also need to complete a participation register sheet which lists the names and phone numbers of all members who will be playing with you (a link is in the document). Completion of this registration is mandatory 4. There is a mandatory 30 minute break between sessions to allow people to pack up and leave to ensure there is no overlap. So please get in, play and get out and do not gather in groups 5. the club courts will be separated into clusters, with no more than 10 people at a time in a cluster, therefore spectators are not permitted 6. Players need to be responsible for their personal hygiene. Many thanks to our Club President Craig Curtis who has done a volume of work behind the scenes in working with Council to get us to this point. We all have a responsibility to adhere to these guidelines to ensure tennis can be enjoyed for us all. The committee thanks you for your patience and co-operation and we look forward to seeing you back on court. Best wishes Bryce Martin (Secretary on behalf of the WLTC Committee). https://drive.google.com/open
