23.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 27/10/2020 CATTLE: Inverell Agents yarded a few less cattle this week, for a total of 850 which was a reduction of 280 head. The yarding consisted of a good supply of yearlings, while there were a few less cows. The yarding of young cattle consisted of a good supply of both yearling steers and heifers in good 2 and 3 score condition, with a large percentage in the medium weight and heavy weight ranges. Competition continued to be very keen from both... feeders and background buyers, resulting in prices improving on last week’s sale. The yarding of the export cattle consisted of a fair number of cows, although not the numbers of last week, while there was a few pens of grown steers and heifers in fair numbers. Quality was good with mainly high yielding cattle offered. Feeder and re-stocker yearling steers were 13c to 18c dearer ranging from 360c to 433c for heavy feeder steers, while light re-stocker yearling steers sold to a top of 519c/kg. Steers 440-500kg $4.22c, 300-330kg xb steers $4.32, 230-250kg rough coated hfd steers $5.20. Feeder and re-stocker yearling heifers gained 15c to 20c with feeder heifers selling from 356c to 408c while light re-stocker heifers 250-280kg topped at 464c/kg. Grown steers held firm selling to a top price of 364c to process and up to 408c/kg to feed. Grown heifers sold to a top price of 362c/kg. 4T hfrs 480-500kg $3.55. The cow market was firm to 4c dearer with 3 score medium weights averaging 297c, while heavy cows sold to a top price of 317.2c/kg. . Bulls were slightly easier with heavy B muscled bulls selling to a top of 337.2c/kg. Lighter bulls 500kg + around the $3.10 mark. SHEEP / LAMBS: Falls of rain throughout the supply area saw sheep numbers decline for a yarding of just 979 head of which there was 500 lambs offered. Quality was good in a firm to slightly dearer market. A pen of young lambs sold to a top of $196, while old trade lambs under 24kg cwt sold to $148/head. Heavy lambs topped at $240 and Dorper lambs sold to a top price of $230/head. The smaller yarding of mutton consisted of several pens of well finished ewes and wethers. The market varied according to quality with a good run of heavy wethers 34kg/cwt selling to a top price of $192, while 30kg/cwt ewes topped at $167/head.52kg LWT xb lambs $188 bare shorn, 53kg Merino lambs skin $178. 54kg XB Hgt bare shorn $175.



16.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 1st September CATTLE: A very small rise in numbers to yard 500 cattle which offered a better-quality penning overall which included a good selection of heavy cows. Re-stockers were very competitive in their purchases of backgrounder drafts as well as lighter cattle to re-stockers. Most of the regular exporters were present, however not all operated. Very light re-stocker steers sold to strong trends, as did the light and medium weights which made 14...c to 15c/kg better. The heavy steers limited in numbers sold to significantly dearer trends. Light yearling heifers sold to a dearer trend of 4c to 11c/kg for re-stocker heifers. Medium feeder heifers were firm to slightly cheaper, with a quality variation apparent. Trade heifers saw dearer trends through both light and medium weights, with heavy weight trades slightly cheaper, back 4c/kg. Grown steers in limited numbers with the lighter trades back only marginally. The heavy heifers, however sold to cheaper trends of 10c to 19c/kg. 2 and 4 tooth hfrs 450-500kg $3.45-$3.52. Light and medium cows saw dearer trends 3c to 17c/kg. Heavy cows saw no change and young de-pastured cows went back to a re-stocker at 315c/kg, 600-700kg cows $2.75-$2.88. Heavy bulls saw a reduction of 22c/kg. SHEEP / LAMBS: As of 7pm no statistics available from MLA however the sale held fully firm on 2 weeks ago, 68kg merino ram lambs $141, 56kg XB lambs with 40mm of skin $160, Heavy 1st x ewe lambs with 50mm skin $200 the wether portion $190. Small pen of XB ewes some on point of lambing, some undetectable $170. Heavy rams $60. GOATS: $9 kg seems to be the benchmark around centres, contact us for actual details.

16.01.2022 Inverell Livestock Report 20th October 2020. CATTLE: Numbers were up slightly by 77 head for a yarding of 1,130 . Young cattle made up a large percentage of the yarding, with a small offering of cows this week. The yarding of young cattle consisted of a good supply of yearling steers and heifers in well finished 2 and 3 score condition with most cattle coming off crop. There was a small number of light weight yearlings offered, with most in the heavier weight ranges. Quality... was very good with mainly runs of well-bred cattle offered. Feeder and background buyers operated very strongly and keen to acquire cattle, resulting in a very strong market. There was only an odd sale of yearlings that went to the trade at recent good prices. Feeder steers were 3c to 4c dearer ranging from 380c to 422c, 500kg + to $4.05, 450-500kg to $4.15 with re-stockers topping over 500c/kg. 180-220kg steers to $5.06. Feeder heifers were up to 10c dearer in places ranging from 363c to 416c/kg. 450-480kg to $3.65 depending on teeth, milk tooth heifers 350kg to $3.98, 320kg milk tooth hfrs $4.16, a pen of fresh Angus hfr weaners 260kg $4.37. The yarding of export cattle consisted of a few pens of grown steers and a good penning of heifers and while cows were in fair numbers, overall, they did not equal the quality and yield of last week. Demand remained strong with grown steers (a pen of a mix of 2/4/6 Tooth XB’s) selling to a top of 398c, while the heifers sold to a top of 358c/kg. The cow market held firm with 3 score medium weights averaging 294c and heavy cows sold to a top of 315c/kg. The outstanding run of heavy bulls sold to a top price of 339c/kg.

12.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 22/9/2020 CATTLE: Numbers decreased by almost half to yard 260 head of which all categories reduced except for bulls which increased to 40 head. There was a good selection of well bred, forward conditioned yearling steers suitable to both processors and feeder operators. All the regular operators attended along with the return of a major exporter. Light steers to background and feed sold to significantly dearer trends as did the heifer portion with p...rices rising 16 to 18c/kg. Medium weight feeder steers sold to an easier trend, lack of numbers a factor. Conversely the heavy drafts, many grain and crop assisted sold to dearer trends of up to 9c/kg. Limited numbers of feeder heifers resulted in a cheaper trend, easing 25c/kg in places. Isolated sales of medium weight trade heifers improved as much as 25c/kg. Grown steers sold to a cheaper trend while the heifer drafts sold to improved values, up 22c/kg. Medium weight cows were dearer selling to rises of 11c/kg. Well-presented pens of heavy cows saw a slight easing in the market, back 7c/kg. 620-670kg cows to $2.85c, 400-450kg store cows $2.40-$2.55. 11.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 13th October 2020 CATTLE: Inverell Agents yarded 1,053 head which was an increase of 298. The yarding consisted of a good supply of yearling cattle, along with a fair number of grown steers and heifers and increased numbers of cows. Overall quality was very good with the best quality line up of cattle offered for some time with most being crop finished. There were also several runs of well-bred cattle through the sale. The yarding of young cattle con...sisted of a good supply of steers and heifers mainly well finished 2 and 3 scores. The line-up of buyers was keen to acquire cattle and fill orders, resulting in a very strong market. Yearling steers were 5c to 10c dearer in places with feeders ranging from 394c to 414c and re-stockers paid up to 455c for lighter well-bred steers, 240-300kg Angus steers to $4.55, best XB steer types under 300kg to $4.40. Feeder heifers made similar gains to the steers ranging from 366c to 422c and re-stockers sold to 441c/kg, 500kg + 2T hfrs to $3.55, 400kg milk tooth hfrs to $3.95, 320-380kg milk tooth hfrs to $4.25. The yarding of export cattle consisted of several pens of bullocks, steers and grown heifers all very well presented. Bullocks and steers sold firm to a dearer trend ranging from 313c to 366c/kg to process, 600kg + bullocks to $3.68. Grown heifers met keen demand reaching a top price of 362c/kg to processors. The cow market continued to be strong with several runs of heavy high yielding cows through the sale. Most cows sold firm to 5c dearer with 3 scores averaging 298c and heavy cows reaching a top price of 318c, while re-stockers paid a top price of 326c/kg for PTIC cross-bred Droughtmaster type cows 500kg +. Light bulls under 800kg to $3.28, heavy bulls over 1000kg to $3.39c/kg. SHEEP / LAMBS: There was a slight increase in the number of sheep yarded for the fortnightly sale for a total of 2,315, consisting of 1,620 sheep and 695 lambs. The yarding of lambs consisted of a good supply of trade weights and a fair number of heavy lambs. Quality was good in a market that saw young lambs top at $200/head. Most of the trade old lambs saw a improvement of $2 to $4/head, however heavy lambs struggled to hold firm. The yarding of mutton was also of good quality, with increased numbers of wethers offered, although there was also a fair penning of ewes through the sale. Although most sheep were good quality the market was overall slightly easier. Mutton: Wthrs 2 skin 23kg cwt $155-$160, skin wethers 24kg $150 , Dorper ewes 90kg LWT $191, 32kg cwt wethers 1 skin $188, rams to $95. Lambs 60kg XB lms $195, 57kg xb lms 1 skin $190, 66kg xb lms 1 skin $230, 50kg dorper suckers $200, 67kg dorper lms $225. GOATS: Rates still hovering around the $9 kg with variances in some grids.

07.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 8th September CATTLE: Numbers increased to yard 750 head of a rather mixed quality penning being offered. Trends reduced through the young cattle, both steers and heifers, to see backgrounders and re-stockers fill the gap, sending drafts of both better quality and plainer types back to the paddock and on to crop. Feeder operators competed to cheaper trends, although the gap not as much as in the re-stocker categories. Most but not all processors were... in attendance and operated to firm and slightly dearer trends in the heavy categories. Light and very light yearling steers sold to cheaper trends of 15c to 27c/kg. Light feeders experienced cheaper trends, back 16c/kg. Medium and heavy feeders back 8c to 11c/kg. The heifer drafts sold to similar trends for the restock categories, light weights significantly cheaper, while the plainer drafts sold back to crop fatteners to finish. Medium weight heifers to the feed lot sold to cheaper trends of 4c to 7c/kg, the gap not as severe compared to the re-stocker categories. Grown steers, in general sold to a cheaper trend, although the heavier drafts saw a rise of 9c/kg. The heifer’s drafts, however, saw falls of 10c/kg for feeders. 07.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 3rd November 2020. CATTLE: Numbers were down slightly this week, with Inverell agents yarding 782 head of cattle. There was a good penning of cows and the yarding of young cattle consisted mainly of yearlings with both steers and heifers well represented. Quality was good with several runs of outstanding well-bred and conditioned yearlings that were suitable for feeder buyers, however there was a few pens of plainer quality cattle through the sale ...this week. Competition was stronger again this week with extra buyers entering the market. As a result of the increased competition feeder steers were 10c to 15c dearer selling from 382c to a top price of 459c while re-stockers paid up to 508c/kg. Feeder heifers made the greatest gain to sell from 20c to 30c dearer, ranging from 380c to 446c/kg for light feeders. The few trade heifers topped at 426c/kg. Angus heifers 425kg $4.00kg , 375kg Angus heifers $4.25kg, 200-240kg plainer heifers $4.90. The yarding of export cattle consisted of a small offering of grown steers, while there was a fair penning of heifers and a good yarding of cows. Quality was good with the largest percentage of heifers and cows being heavy high yielding cattle. The odd grown steer sold to a top of 393c to be up by 10c, while heifers gained from 10c to 20c selling from 320c to 385c/kg. The cow market saw medium weights average 299c while heavy cows were 11c dearer selling to 327c/kg. There was another good offering of heavy bulls with a top price of 348c/kg.

07.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 6 October 2020 CATTLE: Numbers increased by 117 head to offer 755 mostly good quality cattle. There were drafts of yearling steers through the penning which showed a lack of quality and these sold to cheaper trends. Most exporters operated to a much improved cow market. The regular re-stocker and feeder buyers competed through a varying market with feeder steers and heifers selling to dearer trends for the most part, 350-400kg steers to $4.40. Limit...ed late weaners sold to dearer trends, the better-bred steer calves seeing dearer trends of up to 40c, the heifer portion also dearer with a rise of 34c/kg. The light plainer conditioned yearling steers saw a cheaper trend of up to 30c/kg. The medium and heavy feeders sold to rises of 5c/kg. Light re-stocker heifers sold to dearer trends of 17c/kg. Medium weight feeder heifers were dearer, up 27c/kg. Good drafts of supplementary and grain assisted trade cattle saw dearer trends throughout. Heavy grown steers to processors saw a rise of 10c, conversely the heifer portion slipped in value back 8c/kg, 500kg + steers $3.65 -$3.88 depending on teeth and type, heifers 500 kg + 0/2T $3.55 c/kg. All cow categories improved their value. Light cows were up to 16c/kg better. Heavy D2 and D3 cows saw trends rise 7c to 16c/kg. 500kg + $2.90-$3.14 c/kg. 05.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 15th SEPTEMBER 2020 CATTLE: The offering reduced to a little over a half from last week to offer touch over 400 head with all categories experiencing lower numbers. There was limited export competition, the regular re-stocker and feeder competitors attended and operated, with many of the young cattle showing dearer trends. The plain, lighter types contributed to a cheaper trend through those categories. Light steers to feed and re-stockers sold to ch...eaper trends, plainer types contributing to the change. The medium and heavy feeder drafts sold to rises of 17c/kg. Light heifers to go onto crop saw a dearer trend of 10c/kg, while the feeders sold to firm trends. Medium weight feeder heifers sold to dearer trends, up 10c/kg. Grown steers and heifers sold to dearer trends, with medium weight steers up to 24c better, the trade steers were up by 28c/kg. Grown heifers to the trade sold to rises of 24c/kg. The cow market varied with light cows to 5c/kg back, quality and temperament related. Heavy D2 cows reduced 4c, while the heavy D3 cows were marginally dearer up by 4c/kg. An improved bull market saw heavy bulls rise by 19c/kg to reach $3.08 with an extra buyer in attendance. SHEEP / LAMBS: Numbers declined to 1,338 lambs and 629 grown sheep. It was a very well-presented offering, with an emphasis on a large selection of heavy lambs being available. There was not a big penning of grown sheep, but plenty of weight available. All the regular buyers were present and operating. Light lambs to the processor eased $7/head, with just a slight combination of quality and weight a factor. Trade Dorper lambs, however sold to dearer trends of $3 to $7/head, presenting with good pens of shorn lambs. Trade cross bred lambs sold to firm trends. Heavy lambs also sold trends of $11 to $12/head dearer. The extra heavy lambs saw significantly dearer trends making gains of up to $27/head. Hoggets sold from $165 to $180/head. Medium weight ewes eased by $12/head, heavy ewes were firm and ewes over 30kg saw weight and quality sell to slightly dearer trends. Heavy wethers were firm and extra heavy wethers saw a dearer trend owing to extra weight in the consignments. GOATS: Rates continue to hover around the $8.50-$9.00kg mark with one processor offering $9.60 on specific weights, contact us for grids.

05.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 17 November 2020. CATTLE: Numbers declined slightly by 57 head to yard 1218 mostly a fair quality offering. Despite that, the cow quality reduced somewhat to see a cheaper trend for the extra heavy drafts. That trend continued in the heavy yearling feeders. All the regular buyers attended. Limited weaner numbers saw re-stockers active in the purchase of steers and heifers with there being no comparison on last week's results. Light yearling steers s...aw a slightly cheaper trend, back 2c to 7c/kg, 280-300kg Angus weaners $4.87. Medium weight feeder steers showed no change on last week, the same category for the re-stockers seeing a dearer result, up 8c/kg, a pen of Charbray x steers 0T 420-450kg $4.32.Heavy feeders sold to a marginally cheaper trend, back 4c/kg, a pen of flatback steers 520-560kg $4.08.450-480kg 0T steers $4.35, 400-430kg Brahman x steers 0-2T $4.28.Light re-stocker heifers to feed averaged 417c/kg, while the medium weights sold to cheaper trends owing to a quality correction. Trade heifers sold to slightly dearer trends to average 381c/kg, 2T 500kg plus hfrs to $3.87. Light grown steers sold to dearer trends to feed, while heavy steers too showed cheaper trends with breed and quality a factor. Grown heifers were also back 16c/kg, 6T 550kg + to $3.45. A decline in the quality of the cow offering saw only a marginal positive for the 3 score cows, 465kg store cows $3.21 and 500kg + cows to $3.26. 04.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 10/11/ 2020 CATTLE: Numbers lifted by 493 for a yarding of 1,275 head of cattle. Young cattle made up a large percentage of the yarding along with a good penning of cows. The offering of yearlings consisted of a good supply of steers and heifers with several runs of well-bred cattle in prime condition. Most of the cattle were suitable for feeder buyers with only an odd sale going to the trade. The market improved again this week with heavy feeder ste...ers selling 5c to 6 cents dearer, some sales more, most of the medium weight and heavy feeder steers sold from 405c to 455c while re-stockers sold to 531c/kg. Feeder heifers made from 406c to 435c and to 421c/kg for trade heifers. The yarding of export cattle consisted mainly of cows along with several pens of grown heifers however there was also a small offering of grown steers. Processor competition was strong with grown steers selling to a top of 415c for the younger type steers, 0-2T steers 450-470kg $4.27, 0T steers 300-350kg $4.50, soft Euro/Bos x steers milk tooth 340-360kg $4.49, 550-600kg bullocks $3.80 while young heavy heifers reached a top price of 394c/kg, 6T hfrs 500kg plus $3.55 was the money nearly all day for the fresh types. The good run of cows consisted mainly of heavy weights that sold slightly dearer making from 318c to 330c (700-780kg cows $3.26-$3.30) while 3 score medium weights were 3c dearer to average 302c/kg. The outstanding run of 40 heavy bulls were 20c dearer reaching a top price of 367.2c with several bulls selling over 360c/kg. SHEEP / LAMBS: There was a yarding of 517 head of sheep and 182 lambs offered for the fortnightly sale. It was one of the smallest penning of lambs yarded at the sale. Quality was mixed with re-stockers active paying up to $134/head for light lambs. There was not a lot of processor interest in the sale however a pen of heavy lambs 67kg sold to a top of $238/head. The mixed quality yarding of sheep consisted of a fair selection of ewes and wethers with ewes selling to $189 and wethers sold to a top price of $200/head. 22kg CWT bare shorn XB ewes $186, 24kg merino wethers full wool with plenty of burr and seed $185. 02.01.2022 INVERELL LIVESTOCK REPORT 29 September 2020: CATTLE: Numbers doubled for the current sale to yard 640 head, with a very good selection of heavy cows and drafts of feeder and re-stocker cattle available. Most exporters operated, along with the usual re-stocker and feeder orders in what was a much dearer market. Light re-stocker steers and heifers sold to substantially dearer trends, the heifer portion up as much as 43c/kg. 240-260kg heifers $4.40-$4-50 c/kg, heavy 2T heifers 6...50-680kg $3.40-$3-50. The light feeder heifers sold to positive trends of 18c/kg. Medium weight feeder steers sold to strong demand up 23c/kg, while the heifer portion saw a slightly cheaper trend, with a move away from the lesser quality drafts. Quality related but 400-420kg steers $4.00-$4.20, 420-440kg $4.25c/kg, 440-460kg $3.80-$4.00c/kg. Trade cattle sold to dearer trends of 7c to 15c/kg. Limited grown steers saw dearer trends to feed, while the heifer drafts sold to dearer trends, also to feed on. All cow categories sold to dearer trends, more so the D4 types. Light and medium weight cows were 9c to 13c/kg better. Heavy D3 and D4 cows experienced the better end of the market seeing rises of up to 18c/kg for the D4 category. Cows 550-600kg $2.90-$3.00c/kg, 650-700kg cows $3.00-$3.07. Bulls sold to firm trends for the heavy drafts to top at $3.23kg, lighter bulls 800-900kg $3.19 top.
