20.01.2022 Ever wondered what is the best treat for your pet? Treats should be selected based on the pet's chewing style. Mild, slow chewers do well with any treat. Moderate to aggressive chewers require harder treats e.g. rawhide, antlers, dental chews. But, never let a pet break off large pieces and swallow them as they can cause intestinal blockages. https://williamsrivervetclinic.com.au/petcare-dog

20.01.2022 Hello Facebook family - we are looking for a rental for one of our fantastic vets - to keep her from moving away. Dungog Shire towards maitland, Raymond Terrace, Seaham , Gresford, Medowie would all be fine. We’re looking for a house on acres to accomodate her beautiful horses, and it wouldn't need to be large house, is just for the 3 of them . Please PM our page if you know of any rentals - we’d really like to keep this wonderful family local , and a great vet still available to help our our patients .

14.01.2022 We posted back in May that we’d had a few unexpected tick cases after some warmer weather . Well it seems now the tick season has well and truly started . We’ve had multiple animals in this week suffering the devastating and potentially fatal effects of paralysis tick poisoning . Prevention is the best protection . Give the clinic a call if you need to update or discuss your pets prevention protocol . There’s a lot of preventatives on the market.

12.01.2022 Watch out for ticks in long grass, woodlands and bush areas. These are perfect environments for ticks to lurk. Keep the parasite control on schedule and always check your pet's coat, between their toes, and in the ears after each walk.
