22.01.2022 Not sure about whether your child is ready to graduate from Master Blast to Under 11's yet? Here is a little breakdown of the skill level we recommend your child has before moving up to under 11's. Remembering that your child will get a lot more confidence and enjoyment out of their cricket if their skill level doesn't match the others in their team. If you don't think your child is quite there yet then another year of Master Blast will help them further develop their skills in a really fun and non-competive environment.

20.01.2022 For the first time, Williamstown Juniors Cricket Club is looking to field some all-girl teams. We are working with the league on scheduling based on the levels of interest and at this stage we are looking to have their games played on Monday or Wednesday nights. If we don't get enough numbers to field an all-girls team then we will make sure they are allocated into mixed teams with other girls, where possible.

19.01.2022 FUNCTION TIME- The WCC Annual Reverse Raffle Draw will be held on Sunday Feb 21st with a 1pm start. $50 per ticket (includes drinks and lunch). 19.01.2022 MILESTONE ALERT - Captain Coach Brent McMinn passed 2000 First XI runs for WCC in 61 games. Brent became the 12th player in the history of the Club to surpass this milestone in the First XI. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for more player milestones

16.01.2022 FUNCTION ALERT-The WCC Golf Day - will be held on March 14th @ Mt Derrimut Golf Club. $55 entry, 1pm start and will be played in teams of 4 (Ambrose Competition). 12.01.2022 JC Craig Shield Results- Our Craig Shield team has a massive upcoming game against Taylors Lakes this Sunday. The team is 3 wins 1 loss 2 draws and in the hunt to progress to the next round. Well done to all players!

12.01.2022 Following the announcement from the state government regarding the roadmap out of current restrictions, we would like to share with you the updated plan for the commencement of the season. All things going to plan we will be beginning the Junior season as follows; - Week commencing 26th October training to commence under Covid safe plan - Weekend commencing 13th November the season 20/21 competition will commence... We are hopeful that by Friday 23rd October we will have the required information from state government regarding whether step 3 of the roadmap will be commencing or not and will be able to give you confirmation then.

07.01.2022 MILESTONE ALERT- Great news over the weekend with Brenton Hodges passing 5000 First XI runs, becoming only the 4th player in the Club’s history to reach this milestone behind Jack Barnes, Craig Sheedy & Jack Campbell. He is the 54th player (and only 3rd wicketkeeper) to achieve this milestone in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association. This came in Brenton’s 243rd game in his 21st season with WCC. Well done Hodgey!
