16.01.2022 We are extremely proud of our Year 12 students who completed yesterday’s English and EAL exam. It was great to see the smiles on their faces after the exam and it was icy poles all round. We wish all of our students the very best of luck with the remainder of the VCAA examination period and thank the students for their ongoing commitment and resilience. Adam Potter... 15.01.2022 Today is World Teachers’ Day and this is a day for everyone to celebrate. This year, our teachers have ensured lessons continued remotely and supported our students with the adjustment to learning back at school. We would like to congratulate all teachers across the country as it’s reinforced the significant role each teacher plays in the lives of our students, their families and our communities. Our Year 12 student leaders took part in an amazing gesture today and visited all of our teachers at Pasco and gave each teacher a small gift to say thank you! Please see our Instagram account for the full video @williamstownhigh

15.01.2022 We are extremely proud of our students for their wonderful work in the Bubbling Up! Teens Give Back Christmas Campaign. This campaign is in support of West Welcome Wagon, a practical, hands-on way for teenagers and their families to get involved in their local community and support asylum seekers in the west of Melbourne at a time of year when many people are struggling to provide the basics for their family. If you would like your family to take part in this year’s Teens Give Back Christmas Campaign, register your interest here: https://www.bubblingup.com.au/events.
14.01.2022 Remembrance Day 2020 Charles Bean landed with the Australian troops on Gallipoli on April 25, 1915. He stayed with them at the front through the entire war, refusing evacuation when he was wounded. At Pozieres the following year he was witness to 23,000 Australian casualties in just six weeks. A dying Australian asked him, Will they remember me in Australia?". We are calling on all Australians to remember them by observing one minute's silence at 11 am on the 11th of Novembe...r for Remembrance Day. At 11:00am we will all observe one minute’s silence. By observing one minute's silence we pay tribute to the men and women who have served and are still serving in our defence forces and remember those who have died or suffered in conflicts, wars and peacekeeping operations.
12.01.2022 Victorian Youth Week 2020 has been a massive year for young people in a variety of ways. With bushfires, Zoom classes and banana bread, young people’s resilience and strength has had little time under the spotlight. Victorian Youth Week is a chance for us all to pause and reflect upon the achievements, skills and successes that young people contribute to our community every day. This Victorian Youth Week has been extended to a full month from 15 November to 15 December. Hobsons Bay UP presents a series of free events designed for young people aged 12-25 to come together and celebrate their contributions in 2020: https://www.hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au//E/Victorian-Youth-Week.

08.01.2022 We are extremely proud of the hard work and resilience demonstrated by our Year 12 students from across Media, Studio Arts and Visual Communication Design. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn't hold our regular annual film festival and art exhibition, so we have chosen to celebrate their hard work by publishing a book that includes work by each student. Congratulations year 12!
