19.01.2022 Wildlife@Willinga - Australian Water Dragon coming out of its hiding spot. Australian water dragons are extremely shy and have adapted to continual human presence in suburban parks and gardens. They are fast runners and strong climbers and when faced with a potential predator, they seek cover in thick vegetation or drop from an overhanging branch into water. To avoid detection they are able to swim totally submerged and rest on the bottom of shallow creeks or lakes for up to 90 minutes.

12.01.2022 What an amazing two days! Over the weekend, we were lucky enough to have Kerry Turner and Rohan Marks here at Willinga Park to conduct a two day campdraft clinic, and it was fantastic. Our participants benefited enormously from their simple and concise instructions with a few humorous saying that they will never forget.

12.01.2022 I would like to announce that Warwick Lawrence is transferring back to Rosebrook. To quote Warwick it’s important that our horses are seen to be out there and I agree that the top end of our competition horses should be located closer to Tamworth where Warwick can take our horses to more competitions and compete. Warwick has done a fantastic job in moving the stud along and has laid the foundation in our young stock. He will continue to train horses for Willinga Park and w...e hope that our new basic training team, under Warwick’s direction, will perform well, and deliver to Warwick horses that he can take on further. Warwick & Fiona have done a marvellous job in getting some structure and results for the move forward for our Willinga Park stud, and we are all eternally grateful. Warwick has stepped up to take this role and hopefully get the Willinga Park horses out there showing the good work that has been done over the recent years. We look forward to continuing our association. Terry Snow
