24.01.2022 INTRODUCING YOUR INCOMING P&C COMMITTEE - Returning Vice President (Partnerships): Meredith Robson I’m Mum to David (Y5), Adam (Y2), Matthew (Y7) and I manage Partnerships with WPS. I also am a Co-convener for the WPS band program so please contact me with any band questions also.... I love the beach, the water, bushwalking and being outdoors. My favourite pastime is spending time my husband, 3 boys and our dog. I’m really excited about 2021, I think it is going to be a fantastic year for WPS and I can’t wait to see more of the new school buildings.

17.01.2022 INTRODUCING YOUR WPS P&C COMMITTEE 2021 Our P&C Committee members were voted in at our AGM last night and we're very excited to introduce our new WPS P&C President, Daniel Barber. Dan is a Londoner who married his Aussie wife, Zoi, and has been living in Sydney for 15 years. Dan and Zoi are parents to Isabelle (Y6) and Madeleine (Y4). ... Dan has been involved with the East Willoughby Pre-school committee and kids’ sports for the past 10 years. Outside his family, Dan's passions are food, music and football (of the round ball variety). You may recognise him as the tallest of our pink vest volunteers on Oakville Road. If you see Dan around the school, please give him a big Willoughby welcome to the role and introduce yourself. 15.01.2022 FAREWELL TO OUR OUTGOING PRESIDENTS & SECRETARY Last night, at our AGM, we farewelled our outgoing presidents, Tanya Taylor and Jenni Brown, and our Secretary (of 8 years!) Rebecca Cleary. Ladies, we can't thank you enough for your dedication to WPS and your ongoing quest to create a wonderful community at our school. ... Many of your grand plans for 2020 have not come to fruition (thanks COVID) but we are so grateful for all the planning you've put in place behind the scenes and look forward to getting them rolling next near! (Bring on the WPS school fete 2021! )

08.01.2022 REMINDER - YEAR 6 CUPCAKE DAY is TOMORROW! Please bring $2 to school on Friday 13 November to enjoy a cupcake and help raise funds for the Year 6 end of year celebrations. Children will be brought by classes to the bake stall which will be run by our fabulous Year 6 kids. Kids with allergies will be catered for.

08.01.2022 ENJOY YOUR LAST DAY AT WPS, YEAR 6 2020! Following the clap out this afternoon, Year 6 parents are invited to Willoughby Park Bowlo from 3pm onwards to celebrate the end of primary school. There will be sausage sandwiches available for a gold coin donation and drinks available from the bar. The bistro will also be open for food orders. ... Kids will be at the lower oval of the park. 06.01.2022 UNIFORM SHOP FINAL ORDERS AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR JANUARY 2021 Final orders will be Tuesday 15th Dec, delivered to your child's classroom on Wednesday 16th Dec. Unless there are any changes to the current level of restrictions, the Uniform Shop will be open on the following days:... January 27 (pupil-free day) 10:00-12:00 January 28 (pupil-free day) 10:00-12:00 January 29 (first day of school) 8:30-10:00 On these days, the Uniform Shop will be open for face-to-face sales, second-hand sales and order pick-up (it will not be possible to do the same day pick-up, please finalise your online orders at least one day prior to your pick-up day). On 27/01 and 29/01, Dr Shoe will be at the shop selling shoes. At this point, we do not know if the Uniform Shop can resume its traditional operating hours in 2021 please assume that as of Week 2 (February 2021), it will continue to operate via online orders. 03.01.2022 INTRODUCING YOUR INCOMING P&C COMMITTEE - Returning Treasurer: Raffi Mavlian Last, but definitely not least, in our introductions is the man behind the money, Raffi. Raf commenced as Treasurer of WPS P&C in 2020 and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has a child in Kindergarten and has a strong connection with the school having attended WPS himself many years ago. ... Raffi claims not to have any photos of himself... but we'll be sure to change that with a group photo soon!
