23.01.2022 Last play group for 2019, such a great way to end the year visiting the Sorell fruit farm to pick strawberries. The children enjoyed this experience and get to take a yummy punnet home with them..........

21.01.2022 Busy day searching through newspaper shredding to find our natural items and discover when pressed into play dough what patterns could be made. Mr N also suggested that the next building in our recycled city could be a castle. This one was a challenge but the Children stuck it together and again did a great job on the paint. Stage one complete and very proud children

06.01.2022 Up up and away. Today with play group we visited the hill above the Hobart airport to watch as each plane took off from the tarmac and using technology we were then able to track the planes speed and path to their destinations .......

06.01.2022 Recycled city: I have been collecting cardboard boxes and little bits and pieces in order to continue with our sustainability. This morning children in care began our Willow recycled city. As the children in care vary each day it will be a group activity and will gradually grow. Today we started off with the plan of building flats but of course wouldn't be fun if we didn't start by playing in the boxes first. As each child was contributing ideas Mr D suggested a landing strip on top for the helicopter. Discussion began and our flats turned in to a garage. Once the construction was made the children had a wonderful time enjoying their achievements before starting on the paint work

05.01.2022 This morning for play group we attended the Adventure Patch family daycare Christmas party at bush camp. We enjoyed different arts and craft, made our own damper and had a visit from Santa and his elf ...... Thank you all......
