12.01.2022 Some exciting news for parkrun NT. Fingers crossed its not too much longer for us.

05.01.2022 On this day 16 years ago 13 runners and five volunteers gathered at London's Bushy Park for a free timed 5km run which has transformed into a world wide phenomena where everyone from all walks of life are welcome to join in and run or walk with fellow friends and participants. I wonder if Paul Sinton-Hewitt ever thought that it would hit 401 events around the world and over 9 million finishes. Even though Covid19 has hit us all and we are still to meet up again I am thank...ful for the parkrun community. We will resume one day, it will happen. We just need to be patient. Many thanks to parkrun Australia HQ who are working tirelessly in the background with this goal in mind. In the meantime please enjoy this glorious day, get out if you can and stretch your legs. Virtual high fives and toe taps to everyone till we meet up again. Happy Birthday parkrun. Hip Hip Hooray! #loveparkrun
