14.01.2022 WILLOW TREE BOWLS NEWS 22/11/2020 Three lady bowlers attended the Mary Gardener Day at Quirindi on Wednesday and all reported a great game and friendly atmosphere.... Thursday five players turned up but no bowls played so considered it a draw, with some great discussions for the future of our club discussed. Saturday morning we had eight members enjoy a game of fours. Robin Miller, Rosie Ham, Doc Bonner, and Adam Sevil played Tony Rein, Julie Seckold, Eileen Buckmaster, and Peter Bocxe. The score was 16 to 9 over 14 ends does not show that there were some great bowls played by both sides. Anyone wishing to join us for bowls on Thursday afternoons at 12.45 for 1pm start and Saturday mornings at 9.45 for 10am start is most welcome. Learners are most welcome to come and join us and learn how to play. You do not need to have bowls as the club has some to learn with. The more the merrier. The RV camping area is now open with two groups from there coming in on Friday night to enjoy their meals and the hospitality of our club. We hope to see many more come to the camping area and enjoy our club, with it opened on a Tuesday night while tennis is on and Friday night and Saturday Lunch and dinner. Come along and enjoy our club.
