21.01.2022 How range of sheep handling gear is growing. In addition to the v draft race we can now offer a range of panels. Like the race they are made from all aussie steel (where possible) and are made here in willow tree.

20.01.2022 It's been a little while since or last post so here is some feedlot fencing that we have just finished. It has a fixed solid rail and an adjustable wire middle rail to accommodate different size animals.

18.01.2022 The start of a new line of sheep handling equipment here at willow tree engineering is this v draft race. It made using all Australian steel and made in Willow Tree.

16.01.2022 Fresh stock has arrived of nuts and bolts (All grade 8 and zinc plated), a collection of clips and hose clamps as well as our stock of zinc paints, penetrating oil, cutting oil and some more diggers gloves in most sizes. If you haven't tried them yet the wurth riggers gloves are really nice to wear.

14.01.2022 A nice peaceful and productive week this week. Got the excavator boom back together and plated up ready to go back to work and installed this crane. We can now supply and fit these cranes if anyone is interested in one.

14.01.2022 An attachment for.a 3 point linkage seeder allowing the unit to be picked up at an offset and a draw bar for as well. All done without modifying the original unit in any way.

11.01.2022 We don't only work in the usual materials for a welding and fabrication shop. We can also work with some of the more unusual one's. Here is a brass model locomotive tender under construction

05.01.2022 One of the usual jobs here at willow tree engineering is the machining of manifolds. Mostly.we use a milling machine to true the surfaces up but every now and then we get an odd one that is easier to hold in the shaper.

05.01.2022 1st Year Engineering - (Fabrication) Trainee We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to commence their Engineering (Fabrication) Traineeship possibly leading into an apprenticeship! We are on the lookout for a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving training in Engineering. What will you be doing?... Working within a team environment, this role will see you based at our Willow Tree facility. Some of the tasks you may be doing during your apprenticeship include: Reading detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements Set up and operate metalworking machines and equipment Fabricating Steel Installation/repairs on site Model Engineering (miniature live steam locomotives and rolling stock) Welding of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals What are we looking for? 03.01.2022 Another aspect of the business that is a little unknown is the fitting and machining arm. We have a reasonably well equipped shop capable of effecting emergency repairs as well as new components such as this adaptor to fit a hydraulic pump to this diesel motor.

02.01.2022 Single bay dog cage is now in stock. This unit has the standard sideways opening doors and the fine mesh in the front and sides.

01.01.2022 Something a little out of the box. A small smoker. It only stands 5 ft tall.

01.01.2022 A 2 bay dog cage is the latest in our line up of locally made products. This unit has separate sleeping areas, a dividing wall and rear access doors as standard as well as a number of custom options such as the fold down door with ramp dinner mesh on the walls/door and access door to open up the two sides into one larger cage. The single bay version should be done soon as well.
