24.01.2022 I have to admit, we are guilty of collecting these the first time around. But then came reports of them washing up on the beach thousands of miles away. And out came the Christmas edition, and now the 3rd addition is being released tomorrow. In #PlasticFreeJuly no less Enough is enough Coles!! We made so much effort to get rid of single use bags, and now this? Why???? Can we not give out a little packet of seeds with every $10 purchased? So they can grow a tree, or some f...lowers, or veggies? I dont understand!!! Im teaching Willow that as great as something might sound, you have to look further than that!!! They looks cute and Im sure being a 6 year old kid, she wants them! But its up to me to teach her what ELSE that brings. We have to teach our kids to care. Im taking a stand on this one boycotting Coles until theyre gone. #standupformotherearth See more

15.01.2022 Who else is signing up for Veganuary? I love being vegetarian, Im 95% vegan already but I do have leather in my life, and eat the occasional piece of chocolate!! So this year Im going to be even more vegan and try to balance out the 5% of me that isnt. But definitely have a read of this. If we all went vegan, our environmental footprint would be reduced DRASTICALLY. The agricultural industry has a huge impact on our planet, whether we like it or not. Its not just about animal welfare and health anymore, its also a conscious choice to save our planet, once person at a time.

10.01.2022 Soooooo, this one decided to cut her hair a few weeks ago. She cut herself a fringe, and it was literally half this length. Its taken 5 weeks (which happened to be the first 5 weeks of prep!) to grow back to a decent length. Thankgod we can now throw the clips away and wear it forward like a fringe instead of trying to disguise it Every single one of my kids have cut their own hair at some stage. Its a right of passage I guess!! Well, in our household anyway. I cried when she came out to show me Who else has had a child playing hairdressers??

06.01.2022 This gave me chills. I distinctly remember losing each of my children one time at least. They were all very independent little souls when they were little, and they still are. But they never felt lost on their own, which in some situations is great (first day of school or new environment), but when youre in a crowd and theyre very self sufficient individuals that dont get scared by much, you do have to keep a closer eye on them!!
