25.01.2022 Did you know that there is a new trial for a secondary dwelling code underway! As of August, and running for 7 months until March, this trial is in direct response to the increased need for accommodation in backyards other thank granny flats. This is great news for the community, as currently granny flats in Victoria are heavily regulated with them only being allowed for people who are dependent on the occupants of the main home, and must be removed when they are no longer ...occupied by a dependant. Our relocatable homes are perfect to comply with these restrictions. This new concept code trial, whilst it will have some restrictions, is a positive move in the right direction for our state. The trial is being conducted over Moreland and Kingston, as well as a few other councils.
