08.01.2022 Last weekend Sydney recorded a $1.265M median house price this weekend gone 1.2% higher than last weekend, however a relatively same figure we have seen over the last month or more. There were 52% more listings compared to the long weekend last weekend. Listings were also 13% higher than the same time last year. Taking into account the last month of data, this indicates a seller’s market. Sydney’s clearance rate was relatively unchanged at 0.5% lower than last week (74.5%).... MEDIAN AUCTION HOUSE PRICE - $1,265,000 CLEARANCE RATE 74% As mentioned in previous weeks - Momentum is still rising despite the pandemic. An expected RBA cut was not seen, however a rebounding local economy, improved confidence and more lenient government policies surrounding lending restrictions will only continue to fuel these strong market conditions. 01.01.2022 Melbourne is still on the rise and the market seems to be turning. The number of newly reported homes listed for sale has surged by 178% over the week. Newly reported home sales have also increased sharply by 46.6%. CLEARANCE RATE 66.5% ... Although the increases of the past week are coming from a low base and much depends on continued positive news in regard to current shutdown policies, the prospects of a sustained Melbourne market revival similar to other capitals are on the rise.
