25.01.2022 With spring on its way there is lots to see and do in the garden! Today I planted an almond tree to help shade the berry patch. The berry patch has blueberries in flower and has had the first part of the fence ( boysenberry) planted. Bees fought me for territory while I was picking peas. I let them win because, well.... bees are Boss! I waited my turn and got my peas without either me getting stung or bees missing out. Cornflower path ( pink and blue) is coming along, and the chamomile lawn is starting to beat the weeds and smells delightful! I can’t wait to lay on it and look at the stars. My little carob tree has new growth. Not enough rain but it will come.... is looking good ( three different varieties) and beetroot popping up. I’m excited for spring!

25.01.2022 An evening walk around the kitchen garden. Slowly coming together.

22.01.2022 Brahmi and Lemon Grass arrived from Daley’s Fruit Tree Nursery today. In GREAT condition thanks Daley’s! More exciting for me though, we’re the ‘grow bags’ that arrived with the plants for starting my Carob Trees in.

20.01.2022 What’s happening at Willow Park? Lots! Take a peek

15.01.2022 Today’s business....harvesting calendula for eczema cream, peas for my dinner, barrowing more pebbles (the endless pebble barrowing), and I think my rose bush is trying to tell me something... it is STILL producing new buds and beautiful roses! Time for a love potion maybe?????

14.01.2022 More fairies spotted this evening! These ones in the paddock earmarked for this springs Carob Trees. An excellent sign!!! ( photo courtesy of Matilda-Paris Photography )

13.01.2022 Yukomo Giant Snow Peas are flowering.

12.01.2022 A walk after the rain....

10.01.2022 Flowers to brighten up the bathroom. Fresh from Willow Park Home Grown. Our crop of Chamomile will be ready for tea making soon... a beautifully mild sedative that I have used over the years to calm even my youngest babies and grandbabies.

06.01.2022 Could this be one of the Willow Park Fairies???? I think so. No doubt they are out celebrating the news that Willow Park has not been farmed in 30 years, and that when it was farmed, ‘old school’ methods were used. Not chemicals. This gives us the best start possible!!!
