15.01.2022 As a lower body exercise, the Bulgarian Split Lunge is one of my favorites _ It strengthens the muscles of the legs, including the quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. Also, as a uni-lateral exercise, your core is forced to work in overdrive to maintain your balance. _ It will also leave you with more muscular soreness then most lower body exercises

11.01.2022 I dont post alot of nutritional tips as I like to stay inside my scope of practice, but the quote "You are what you eat" is nothing but truth. _ The stats change but roughly 70% of what we eat is how we shape. Think about calories, what's your food intake made up of? Good calories & bad calories? and how many calories are you burning against how much you intake?

04.01.2022 This is a msg one of my client's sent this morning that certainly hit me in the feels. I asked for permission to share with everyone _ "Thank you for the wonderful space you’ve created with the Shred Shed. I had a big hiccup recently and depression just swept my legs clean out from under me. By far the worst low I’ve had in many years, and without sounding dramatic, I spent a few days in survival mode just keeping myself alive (hard work when you’re brain is the one you’re... trying to protect yourself from!). If you weren’t you, I know for a fact that I never would have returned to training with you. Anxiety would have beat me and I just never would have made it back. But, luckily you are you. And you are so damn warm and welcoming. You have made a comfortable space, with no expectations, that feels so warm and caring. Your genuine passion for what you do shines through. I didn’t even need to give any thought to my anxieties. I knew I could come and train exactly how I was. Whether that be happy and perky, or broken and a mess. There is no pressure to be anything other than myself, however I’m feeling, and do anything other than the best I can, even if it changes each session. So, thank you!!! You’re bloody awesome " _ So happy to be able to help people, even when you dont know what their going through
