22.01.2022 Cancellation of this weekend's festival. It is with regret that the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival Committee advises the cancellation of the 2020 festival. Following the direction of State Government and SA Health the festival cannot proceed as planned under its COVID management plan. While this is disappointing for all involved the health and safety of our valued stakeholders and community is our top priority. Ticket buyers and event suppliers will be contacted in due co...urse. We would like to thank those who generously donated their ticket purchase or stallholder fees from this year’s festival once they found out it was cancelled. Willunga Recreation Park is the community owned and managed. And yes, it costs money to maintain and upgrade these facilities. The Willunga Almond Blossom Festival is the major fundraiser held each year to ensure that the community continues to have the use of a precinct that has become the heart and soul of Willunga. So, thank you for supporting our community facilities, it benefits everyone in ours town.

15.01.2022 FESTIVAL UPDATE: In this current continuing uncertain climate we are postponing our community fundraiser the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival to a date later this year. We are considering options in late September or November. As COVID-19 conditions change we will continue to review our options with in the government guidelines as they are presented to the general public and make adjustments accordingly. We are looking forward to presenting our family friendly festival as a celebration of community, and all that Willunga and the region has to offer. 01.01.2022 Just a short note to inform you that the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival Team is continuing with its preparations for this years festival. The festival is to be held on the weekend of 25-26 July which is 4 months away. Our hope is that the crisis will be over by then and that normality has resumed, and many other events which have been previously affected by bans are being held. However, we are not ignoring the current situation and are monitoring it and government advice very closely.
