Any new Junior members wishing to join the club please email [email protected] to join the waiting list. Registrations close on 5 January 2021 for League + Senior 2 players, 29 January 2021 for Senior 3 - 7 players and 12 February 2021 for Junior/Inter players. All registrations need to be completed via the MyNetball App or https://...netball.resultsvault.com/comm/pages//welcome.aspx A $50 trial fee is required at the time of registration and is deducted from your fees. 21.01.2022 Wanted: 2-3 Volunteers who are 18 plus to help check-in patrons for Willunga Recreation Park Fleurieu Beer Festival Saturday 23rd January 4-5pm at Willunga Rec Park. This goes towards the hours we need to volunteer to WRP in lieu of additional hire cost (which helps keep fees low) In return, you will receive free entry to the beer festival and 1 beer voucher. 05.01.2022 GSNA are excited to announce that their Representative Team selection registrations are NOW OPEN. The purpose of the GSNA Representative Team programme is to provide a localised training environment that allows our regions aspiring young netballers access quality development opportunities. Our aim is to give selected players the opportunity to develop their netball skills whilst fostering important life skills such as pride, respect, responsibility, maturity, discipline, exc...ellence, passion, sportsmanship and determination in a friendly, yet competitive environment. Each team will have a dedicated coach who takes the players and team through the 2021 season. GSNA also invites interested coaches to take up the opportunity to get involved with coaching and managing our 2021 representative teams. To be eligible for the 2021 GSNA Representative Team, players must be a registered financial member of a Club affiliated with GSNA and/or going to be registered for 2021 season by the commencement of trials. Age requirements 11&under - 2010 & 2011 13&under - 2008 & 2009 15&under - 2006 & 2007 17&under - 2005 & 2004 All nominees will attend representative squad trials at Mt Compass Netball Club as follows: 11 & Under Sunday 7th March and Sunday 14th March 4-6pm 13 & Under Sunday 7th March and Sunday 14th March 4-6pm 15 & Under Sunday 7th March and Sunday 14th March 6.15-8.30pm 17 & Under Sunday 7th March and Sunday 14th March 6.15-8.30pm No late nominations will be accepted. 03.01.2022 WONDERFUL NEWS Our Willunga Almond Blossom Festival will be going ahead on 20 - 22 November! Our long running community fundraiser may be just a little lat...e this year but we plan to present a fun family-friendly event for you all to enjoy. Celebrate in Willunga with a weekend of show rides and family activities starting at 4 pm on the Friday afternoon. Join our circus performers, pet the animals, shop at the market stalls, sing along with local musicians and discover our almonds, with Meet the Growers" and an almond cracking competition on the Sunday. Once again, we will host a range of delicious food, wine and beer stalls. Whether you want real ‘carnie food’, wood fired pizza, burgers, simple healthy snacks or Asian dishes, you will find them at the festival. Our festival has received COVID-19 approval from SA Health and with their guidance we are will able to offer a safe and welcoming event.
