23.01.2022 Some dramatic weather on the way, sent in by Cookie-Mark Harrigan. If you're confused by the missing map and graph buttons in our latest iOS app update just scroll down on the main weather pages and click on the radar and graph thumbnails instead. You can now fully customise your graphs and save them as "favourites". Access these "favourites" by clicking on the locations tab, and you'll find them listed under your favourite locations.

21.01.2022 Our thoughts are with those affected by terrifying blazes in Northern NSW and Southern QLD. And to the volunteer firefighters out on the fires: THANK YOU. (Photo: Pacific Palms Rural Fire Brigade)

19.01.2022 Set the alarm clock for Saturday morning! You’ll be rewarded by a stunning red moon as it slips into the dawn twilight on the western horizon. This will be the ...longest total lunar eclipse this century. What and how much you will see depends upon your time zone and when the sun rises. You can see the eclipse anywhere from Australia (as long as the clouds stay away).

18.01.2022 WillyWeather Australia is pleased to announce a number of new features, added today to the website. These include cloud cover and Delta T in the observation summaries for each location, along with the ability to graph apparent temperatures, dew point, Delta T and cloud. For those unfamiliar with Delta T, it is mostly used as a guide to spraying conditions in agriculture. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Delta T is "indicative of evaporation rate and droplet lifetime. Delta T is calculated by subtracting the wet bulb temperature from the dry bulb temperature. When applying pesticides, Delta T should ideally be between 2 and 8, and not greater than 10." These new features will also be added to WillyWeather's iOS and Android apps in a future update.

15.01.2022 With the latest upgrade, Version 2.4, WillyWeather now has its first native iPad version. At last, we’re using the full potential of the big screen. Maps and graphs work in landscape mode and full landscape mode functionality is coming in future updates. It’s also now searchable as an iPad app in the store and updates more easily.

13.01.2022 Dark mode now on Android! WillyWeather Android app users will notice our new update featuring dark mode. It's set to auto by default, but you can toggle it on and off by going to settings on your app. Night anglers and boaters should appreciate this new feature. (Coming soon to iOS)

10.01.2022 After years of development, we take pleasure in announcing that our new dedicated weather station pages are now live, incorporating a full historical database. You can visit the weather station page at https://www.willyweather.com.au/clima/weather-stations.html or look for the new weather station icon next to the live data feed on the top right hand side of our location pages. Choose this for a map of nearby weather stations. Click on the one you want, select the dates and information you're after, and enjoy browsing the data. You can also click on weather station names wherever they appear on the site. Only on the website for now.

05.01.2022 Ever wondered how strong the wind will be five miles offshore? Offshore anglers are going to love our new offshore FAD locations. Just search for your local FADS in every state.

03.01.2022 Welcome to WillyWeather favourites! You'll notice that in our most recent update (V2.9) the map and graph buttons have been removed from the top right hand corner of the app. This is part of an improved method of saving user-specified plots. You can still access the rain radar by heading to the rainfall page, scrolling down and tapping on the radar image. You can set it up how you want it, then hit the save button in the top right corner to save that map (incorporating the ...location and all other settings) as a favourite. Graphs now work in the same way. Just go to the weather page, tap on the graph icon at the bottom of the graph, add whatever plots you want, then then hit the save button to save that map (including location and all other settings) as a favourite. Your favourite graphs and maps will now be listed along with locations, so can be easily accessed by tapping on the locations button. It's a much better system as you can save multiple graph and map configurations for a number of different locations and access them at your leisure.
