23.01.2022 Thanks for a great 2nd half of 2020. The first half was a bit ordinary. I really appreciated the love we got from the Year 6's from Marrickville & Forest Lodge. I will miss them all (remember if they do need a shot of beef pasta home delivery will be back after the 1st week in Jan!) Thanks for the gifts & the laughs. Have a fab Christmas & New Year & enjoy the holidays.... Here's to a better 2021!

15.01.2022 Tales, and fails, from the experimental kitchen. As many of you will know I love Mexican and Tex-Mex food and love to share it with you guys. So this term I have been experimenting with a variety of things. First up we thought about pockets with yummy pork and beef and veggie bean filling but much of the bread wasn't suitable. Too dry, too fally-apart, previously frozen, that sort of thing. So...... Along with a delicious chili con carne, with a variety of spicy sauces available, on Tuesdays we will be offering a burrito in Wednesday. Filled with either beef chili, pulled pork or vegetarian bean. Served with rice and cheese, wrapped in a delicious flatbread and baked in the oven. Yummo!

As tradition demands, and the kids have been since February, why not enjoy an ice-cream tub from our friends at Serendipity as a little pre-Christmas treat. 09.01.2022 Happy New Year folks! After a couple of weeks enjoying a break, we are back to work experimenting on exciting options for next term's specials. Today we are tasting the 'Mini Mi'. Based on Marrickville's favourite lunch, the Bánh Mi. Our version contains Wil made pulled pork or chicken with our own coriander spread, mayo and julienned carrot and cucumber served on a special ('two thirds the size...ba ha ha!') crusty roll from our friends at Kim Hot Bread. Add sweet chilli sau...ce if you like. D2 and friends have it a nine out of ten. Not bad for the first go.

07.01.2022 WELCOME TO LUNCH, CRUNCH & MUNCH! Introducing two new online-only special deals to make your ordering experience simpler and more cost effective, The Weekly Dea...l & The Daily Deal. There is a vegetarian version of both and included in the deal is a large water or juice, fruit and a crunch-pack, with optional hummus. The Weekly Deal offers you the daily special every day, with meaty upgrades included where applicable. You only need to order once to feed your child for the week. There is an option to change the special to a beef or veggie pasta on any day you wish. The deal will save you ~10% compared to the individual prices. Please note that the sushi offering on Monday is limited to either chicken or cucumber depending upon the deal purchased. You can also purchase additional items on the day if you wish.
