19.01.2022 R U OK? Day is today 10 September 2020. It’s a national day of action when Australians are reminded that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK? if someone is struggling with life’s ups and downs. At Wilson Mining, we wanted to encourage everyone to keep the conversation going and did this by having a BBQ. Brooke, HSEQ Coordinator (pictured) reminded us all that there is more to say after R U OK? And you don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going. #RUOK

14.01.2022 Through their work with the Pike River Recovery Agency in New Zealand, Wilson Mining filled a shipping container with Rocsil. The Rocsil has then been cut out to form a tunnel to see if this would allow access to the other side of the Rocsil plug. Pictured in the tunnel is Dinghy Pattinson from the Pike River Recovery Agency.

13.01.2022 Today, on the 10th Anniversary, Wilson Mining remember those men who lost their lives at Pike River. Our thoughts are with their families today.

12.01.2022 Last week Wilson Mining sent Simon Lovell, Steve Mead and Will Beverley to Tasmania, where they were involved with the Cornwall Coal (Blackwood Mine) BLS recovery. Rocsil was installed around prebuilt steel set supports to allow the mine safe access for men and machinery to reclaim BLS. The job was executed to a high standard and the client was extremely happy with the performance of the Rocsil foam around the steel sets. Well done to everyone involved.

11.01.2022 Product focus for this week is Marithan N (PUR). PUR is a versatile product that can be used in a wide array of applications from binding together fractured strata to sealing water inflows in strata and around ventilation seals and bulkheads. 04.01.2022 Introducing ROCSIL HD20. ROCSIL HD20 was developed specifically to achieve a mine plug seal rated to a 50 PSI overpressure loading, these high strength mine seals are typically utilised to protect against overpressure (blast) events in underground mines. Rocsil HD20 does not replace the existing Rocsil LS1 for cavity filling but provides an alternate solution where a stronger seal rating is required. For more information please contact [email protected]
