11.01.2022 Metabo #Cordless 18V Automatic tapper drill GB 18 LTX BL QI in action! Repost @cordlesstools - It’s a simple job with the tapper drill to cut the treads not having to switch the drill into reverse. It reverses the tap out #Automatically when pressure is taken off the chuck. 1068 holes to be drilled and tapped for an M12 bolt. The section of steel is 125x125x9mm SHS and the job is for 18 privacy screen steel frames. Nearly 4 ton of steel is required. The frames will be hot dipped galvanized. The holes will require to be re tapped again to cut the gal of the treads.
07.01.2022 Metabo WB 18 LTX BL 180 cordless grinder 180mm ( 7 ) Repost @cordlesstools Got this grinder for its maximum depth of cut/reach and its compactness compared to other cordless 7 grinders on the market. Also the rpm is 8200 which is higher than the other cordless 7 grinders. A higher rpm helps cut/grinder steel quicker, ceramic wheels work more efficiently at high rpms as the ceramic grain self sharpens. The max depth of cut is 60mm which isn’t much less than a stan...dard 9 grinder which is around 66mm max depth of cut. The body of this grinder is similar size of most other 4 1/2 - 6 cordless grinders on the market. See photo for size comparison with the dewalt 18v brushless 5 grinder - In the video I’m cutting 60mm OD gal pipe with a new wheel. One thing I don’t like about this Metabo grinder is the rotating battery, it works on a detent and it can easily slip with a light knock. Would be ideal if it could be locked or a stronger detent.
