25.01.2022 Thanks Geoff for the drone shots. Keep your eyes peeled for the sky writing!!

25.01.2022 Starting this Sunday afternoon, we're running the ‘Building a Safe and Strong Marriage’ course. It's written by Australian couple, Keith & Sarah Condie, and is a series of 5 sessions drawing on the wisdom of the Bible and research into marriage. Its aim is to strengthen participants' marriages, and thereby enrich the lives of others around them. It's for any married couple, no matter how long you’ve been married, for both those whose relationships are going well and those w...ho are finding things a bit tough. You can get a feel for the course here: https://vimeo.com/316489065. We'll meet in the Wilston basement from 2:30-4:30pm on Sun 28 July, 11 Aug and 25 Aug, and 12-4:30pm on Sun 8 Sept. Cost is just $20 to cover the cost of workbooks. We have room for one more couple, so please contact Stuart or Cathy if you'd like to take that spot :).

23.01.2022 Jesus’ story about the workers and the talents in Matt 25 raises some confronting questions for those of us who say we belong to him. What is our picture of Jesus? What right does he have to demand anything from us? Whose business are we investing in and promoting - his or our own?... Will he be pleased with the investment we’ve made on his return? Today’s talk, the final in our series This is Our Time, is now available on our website (www.wilstonpc.org.au).

22.01.2022 Never been so happy to see destruction...

22.01.2022 Picking up on the significance of Jesus’ final words, this song It is Finished is one we’ll be learning together on Sunday.

21.01.2022 The morning after.

19.01.2022 This coming Sunday, we’re learning the song Sovereign Over Us. Here’s some thoughts from the songwriters on the purpose behind the words: We wanted to sing honestly about the fact that we hurt, we weep, we mourn, and even in those times we can rest in the sovereignty of God. But not only can we trust in his sovereignty, we can know learn more about his character in those seasons.

16.01.2022 The GROW Women's Conference is coming up in 1 month's time. It's for women of all ages, stages and backgrounds and will be held at the Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday 17 August (9am-3:30pm). Take the day out to listen to the Bible, respond in prayer and song, share stories, eat and rejoice in Jesus together. If you'd like to join the group from Wilston PC, please let Deb know you're keen.

15.01.2022 Jesus' visit to the Gerasenes, recorded in Matthew 8, is full of surprises: * Who he meets; * How they react to Jesus; * What they ask of him; and... * How the others around respond. Yesterday's talk from the Kingdom Come series is now available on our website: wilstonpc.org.au.

12.01.2022 32 MacGregor street, next door to the Wilston Church. At midnight on 28 August in they came. And out they went. Up a hill, round a corner. No worries...

11.01.2022 What does it look like to live faithfully, courageously and discerningly as Christians in these days? What are the longings of our heart? What are the lies we believe about how to best satisfy them? What does the light of the gospel show us about fulfilling deep longings in a way that leads to life?... These are the questions we're grappling with in our current Bible talk series 'This is Our Time'. Yesterday's talk is now available on our website: www.wilstonpc.org.au.

08.01.2022 In the 1970s, a Romanian Communist party member named Florin Trifan entered the doors of a local Baptist church as a spy. In first century Jericho, a Jewish tax collector named Zacchaeus climbed a tree to catch a glimpse of a famous teacher. Both these seemingly ordinary encounters were life-changing.... Find out why in today's talk at www.wilstonpc.org.au.
