23.01.2022 Our Scout Leaders took the Scouts to Southbank last night for a fun packed swimming evening to celebrate a fabulous 2017. I have it under good authority that there was laughter, merriment, and much splashing around last night. Thank you to our leaders for putting in the hours and effort to make this a year of grand adventure for our Youth Members. Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to all.... 22.01.2022 What a fabulous evening of celebration. Tonight we formally recognised the achievement of two of our Scouts who have been awarded the Australian Scout Medallion. The ASM is the highest award that can be earned in the Scout section and and takes consistency, dedication and planning over a three year time frame. An amazing effort and congratulations to you both. ... We were honoured with some special guests for the night one of whom was our Queensland Chief Commissioner Daryl Scott.

19.01.2022 Our cub leaders are providing an amazing full program for our youth members. Tonight we celebrated a Cub achieving their Grey Wolf award. She has been dedicated and motivated to achieve this, the highest award in the Cub section with the help of her family and leaders. Congratulations Shirley

14.01.2022 Ray's camping on Lutwyche Road Windsor has a sale ending today. Free 2 man tent when you spend $100. If you need camping gear and already have a tent then I can confirm that our scout group will put the extra tent to good use if you would like to donate it to us. . Thanks Mandy for the heads up.

09.01.2022 Election Day for Queensland is this Saturday November 25th. If you are in the Wilston area or voting for Marchant Ward, make your way to Evelyn Street Grange (opposite the Grange Library) where the polling booths will be in our den. 07.01.2022 Bunnings BBQ Sausage Sizzle Stafford Bunnings Sunday January 7th 2018 6:30am - 4:30pm We have been lucky enough to grab an allocation slot at Stafford Bunnings for this coming Sunday. If you are out and about please consider dropping in to support our Wilston Scout Group and grab a sausage and a drink. ... All proceeds put directly into the group facilities to support the fun and active adventures for our youth members in Cubs, Scouts and Venturers.

02.01.2022 Here is the Launch video for the new Australia wide rebranding for Scouts. New youth programs will be rolling out slowly starting Feb 2019, with badges and associated branding in effect immediately. We will keep you posted as to what that means in terms of uniforms and badges etc but right now it is an exciting time to be a part of this new time in Scouting.
