25.01.2022 Old, Young and In-Between. On Wednesday I had the great privilege of returning to Queen Victoria Gardens RSL Lifecare to run a Church service with the residents. External visitors have not been allowed in the home over the past few months due to COVID-19 restrictions. The response of one resident to these restrictions was to say 'I'm going to die soon anyway, let them in.' They have been frustrated and at times lonely. It was wonderful to be able to encourage them in thei...r faith in Christ, lead them in prayer and song, hear Alex proclaim God's Word and fellowship together with them over a cup of tea. At the other end of the spectrum, this weekend Kate and Tony will take 13 primary school children to Square One Camp. They will join with other kids from around Sydney in hearing from God's Word and having a great fun weekend of activities together. Please pray that throughout Picton and Wilton, all of us, young and old and in-between, would continue to grow in joy and faith in Christ through God's Word and Spirit at work in our lives! 24.01.2022 I'm excited and relieved to be able to invite you to join us for our Christmas Day Service, 9am at St Mark's, Picton. Only the first 40 people will be allowed in the building. However, weather permitting, we can have a large number of people outside watching with a large screen TV and speakers. We encourage you to bring a mask and to maintain appropriate distancing from others. Those outside will be able to join in singing carols, while those indoors will not be able to p...articipate in singing. It will be a great opportunity to celebrate, to hear from God's Word and rejoice in the birth of Christ our Saviour. There have been many uncertainties in the lead up to Christmas, now it seems even the weather might even be favourable. There is no need to pre-register. See you on Christmas Day. The service will also be livestreamed to youtube: https://youtu.be/koRg_tMztUw See more

18.01.2022 We are so devastated at the loss of our beloved Belinda Anne Jackson, last Wednesday. COVID restrictions mean physical attendance at her funeral is by invitation only. However, you can still join us by watching the livestream on Tuesday 12th January, 11am: https://youtu.be/xmCSX-QeXrg. We are setting up Wilton Anglican Church as a livestream viewing site so that people can gather together to watch. Numbers will be limited so you need to book a free ticket here if you want to attend: https://www.trybooking.com/BNXED. Please thank God with us for Belinda's beautiful life, and pray for Ray and the family as they grieve her loss.

15.01.2022 "I feel Christ never gave up on me, never gave up looking for me. I was heavily involved in the JW's organisation when I was a child and learnt all about Him. However, because of what I was going through I turned my back on Christ and God. I couldn't understand how a loving God could allow such suffering. Even though they weren't the right teachings, it still stayed with me. Through the years though, I would sometimes think about Him and even went to church a few times in ...high school with my friend. I was still so angry at the time and also going through a traumatic event, so I guess you can say I wasn't ready. Even though it took me years to come back to Him, he never gave up on me. Looking back now, I know that He was with me especially when I was really struggling. I didn't know it at the time, but I know now. Having come back to Him and learning the true teachings and His word, I try to remember to always trust in Christ because no matter what happens, how hard things get, He will always be there." - Zoe Warnock. Zoe was baptised at Bargo River on 18th October 2020, along with several others. Join me in praying that many more might put their trust in Jesus and be saved!
