Check it out here: https://wiltshirecreative.com.au/winding-road-distilling-co Winding Road Distilling Co is a family-run distillery set in the lush hills of the Byron Bay hinterland. Premium small-batch spirits are produced which capture the natural beauty and abundance of the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. Winding Road takes a slow and patient approach to their craft, resulting in spirits that display a unique ra...nge of complex layers and flavours. The folks from Winding Road approached Wiltshire Creative looking for logo design, identity and packaging. Winding Road expected the highest quality branding to be in keeping with the uncompromising quality of their product. The identity and packaging system we created for them features bold, colourful, and minimal typography with a hint of nostalgia. A big part of the brief was to encapsulate the beautiful part of the world that is the Northern Rivers region. The colour palette was chosen to reference natural tones found in the surrounding area, the rolling hills, the spectacular ocean views, beaches and the sugar cane fields from where they source their raw ingredients. The "batch labels" were created to reflect the individual nature of each of Winding Road's products. Sections on these labels allow for handwritten numbers that express the traditional, handcrafted processes, combined with contemporary elements to reflect the high quality of their products.

Check it out here https://wiltshirecreative.com.au/foghorn - Early in 2019 Foghorn Brewery approached me for a rebrand, they were looking for an improved logo design, identity design, and packaging. The identity and packaging system, I created for them features bold, colourful, and minimal forms, that are a nod to the solid industrial background of Newcastle. The factory motif is rendered in a tonal dropped style that references the block print...ing process of the 1930s-1950s and poster art, giving both impact to the image as well as hinting to the city’s strong working-class roots. The brand conveys solidity and quality. Visual elements refer to socialist ideals and Newcastle’s industrial past. The graphics are aimed to appeal to the buyer’s appreciation of cultural references, such as Shepard Fairey's artwork and socialist propaganda posters. My love for skateboarding started around 30 years ago and around the same time so did my love for logo design. It was skateboard graphics that got me interested in graphic design all those years ago.

05.01.2022 Over the last five years Bluebonnet has proved itself to be one of the best barbecue restaurants in Melbourne’s thriving food scene. With the growing popularity of their American style barbecue food, they needed to find a new home and decided to step it up a notch with new bigger venue. Taking the plunge, the team transformed a rundown old building in East Brunswick’s busy dinning strip. The result is a rustic yet contemporary new space that oozes sophistication with capacit...y for 170 people. Inspired by this new space, the branding was created as a nod to old school Americana. The red and blue colour palette sets the tone, the heavy use of distressing and half tone dots drives home the feeling of years gone by. The hand drawn characters are inspired by vintage advertising and bring a real sense of fun to the brand.
