11.01.2022 The Brigade nominated Ngangganawili Aboriginal Health Service (NAHS) for a Volunteer Employer Recognition Award (VERA). We are pleased to advise that on 1 November 2019, NAHS was presented with a Gold Award by the Minister for Emergency Services; Corrective Services the Hon Fran Logan MLA. NAHS is a prime example of an employer who supports volunteering. Despite being the only health service in the Shire of Wiluna, NAHS actively encourages its employees to attend fires and... other emergencies and fully supports their volunteering with the Wiluna Town BFB. NAHS also happens to be the largest employer in Wiluna and employs a large cohort of Brigade members. Without this exceptional support from NAHS, the Brigade would find it more difficult to muster crew during business hours. Out thanks, admiration and appreciation go to NAHS.
