07.01.2022 WGCL U16 Match Reports Day 2: Tuesday 12th January In the morning game we took on our roomies, Geelong on the Dahl Turf Wicket. Geelong won the toss and elected to bowl. Maddi and Georgia put on a great attacking batting display, putting on a 29 run partnership, before Georgia was dismissed in the seventh over by accurate bowling. 04.01.2022 It was a fantastic day at the Manoo Family Day. Plenty to do and our girls (with a few helpers) put on a good exhibition, with around 10 runs separating the teams. The WGCL received a cheque for $2000 for participating in the match which will be used to make the league bigger and better. A massive thank you to QLS Logistics, the Marnoo Cricket Club and in particular Mark Percival for getting behind the girls. Really appreciated and will be put to good use. Well done to Ava Clark who was named player of the match, performing well with both bat & ball. Ava relieved a $100 QX3 voucher and cap.
