22.01.2022 Time to start planning for our 2021 Hockey Season! Executive Positions for 2021 are as follows: President- Nhill Vice President - Warracknabeal Secretary- Dimboola (swapped with Yanac)... Treasurer - Kaniva Records - Horsham Ump - Yanac (swap with Dimboola) Please discuss with your club members who is willing to go onto the executive and also who is willing to be a representative for your club. We hope to have a time and date set for the AGM in the next couple of days so watch this space and start getting your club members and players together to ensure you have a team in the hope we can have a 2021 season! 20.01.2022 Hi everyone. Well it can be the understatement of the year, that 2020 has been so far a huge challenge to all of us. A major shake up on how we now have to adjust our lives in order to do the simple pleasures we enjoy, and not take for granted. Throughout this uncertainty, HOOKED ON HOCKEY CONTINUES TO BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Providing for all hockey gear necessary to be ready, when we all see some light, to get us back onto the field. It has been frustrating for everyone incl...uding myself as a player/retailer however, hope to return is being slowly becoming a reality. Therefore to avoid the last minute rush that will be placed on me in trying to get gear out quickly, if members who were planning to get gear, and clubs updating gk gear, balls etc to CALL/TEXT/EMAIL ME NOW with their orders. (Sale specials are on now). Check what specifically you are needing by viewing products online, and i will organise and dispatch out your orders as quickly as possible. If your associations have club training dates commencing already or soon, PLEASE LET ME KNOW TO ARRANGE A SALES VISIT. The necessary steps for safe retail purchasing will be in place when you all see me. No virus is going to bring down hooked on hockey, and I personally want to thank you all for your wonderful support to your local bloke who was NOT out of mind, when one was out of sight. Please be patient for orders that I have to arrange to get from suppliers who may not be as efficient as me, though I will try my hardest to deliver to avoid further delay and stress. 12.01.2022 Well...today feels like we should be at hockey - and wouldn’t it have been lovely in Nhill today!!! I’m pretty happy I’m home in front of the fire!!! Thought I’d do a throw back to 2010!!! Excuse the quality but it’s great seeing some of the names from 10years ago!!!

11.01.2022 2020 Hockey Season Update In light of the State of Emergency being called due to Coronavirus, the executive committee have decided to move two motions - One is to not attend JCC for 2020 and the Second is to postpone the commencement of the WHA 2020 season until no earlier than the start of June. We will keep you informed of any other major decisions as they occur. Please keep safe and we hope to have positive news soon.

01.01.2022 I know this is about football - but it’s relevant for all codes of sport! Today would’ve been round 1 in Warracknabeal. Perfect hockey weather - not too hot - not too cold - not too wet!!! And would’ve been the first time the hockey community had been together since the grand final last year. While this isn’t what we thought the season would look like - we cannot change it and must make the most of this time. Enjoy being home. Enjoy being with your family. Take the time to do all those things we never have time to do because we are so busy running around after work, school and sports! We will have hockey again! When - I’m not sure, but once this is over our hockey community can come back together and celebrate that we are on the other side! Stay safe - stay home!!!
