10.01.2022 We are a Freelance Kitchen Design Service, specialising in designing custom built kitchens and cabinetry throughout the entire home. We do not manufacture kitchens but work with a number of cabinetmakers. Ray is an Award Winning Designer with over 40 years experience through out Victoria and South Australia and a qualified cabinet maker and joiner, also a trained and certified in kitchen design consultant. Ray worked in his family joinery for over 20 years in a number of rol...es, before relocating to Adelaide and working alongside some of Australia’s most awarded designers, honing design skills working for ‘up market’ kitchen companies, Harvey Norman Renovations and Jag Kitchens. Decided it was time to move back to Vic to be closer to family. Spent 5 years in Ballarat Designing for Advance Cabinetry, where Ray won a few regional awards. Recently moved back to Rays home town of Warracknabeal with wife Trish, to offer a freelance design service to the Wimmera and Mallee. Ray & Trish have gained an extensive knowledge of appliances and how they are integrate into a functional kitchen. We are approachable and enthusiastic and are highly focused on our client’s experience. Outstanding functional kitchens can only be achieved with a close working relationship between designer and client. Does your kitchen need updating? Are you renovating? How does the process of working with Ray and Trish at Wimmera Mallee Kitchen Design work? 1. Book a time for an initial consultation. 2. At the initial consultation all measurements are taken, a wish list is compiled and a concept is developed from the clients wish list then clients can be referred to an appliance specialist to do appliance selections. 3. The concept plan is drawn and sent to the client for approval. 4. Drawings are updated with appliance selections and more detail. 5. A selections appointment is booked to select cabinet finishes. 6. Plans and specifications are finalized ready for the cabinetmaker. 7. There are more things we do behind the scene we do to bring this all together, your package will be tailored to your particular requirements.
