21.01.2022 Hi to all our followers and supporters and everybody in general, just a reminder that the 17th Art & Photography Show gets under next Friday evening, November 3rd with the Grand opening, which will include the presentation of all the awards to the winners, followed by a beautiful light supper, all for only $5- students and exhibitors are free. This will take place at the Globe Theatre, Willis Street, Winchelsea, we would love to see you there. Shows opening times through out the weekend are Saturday and Sunday - 10.00 am till 5.00 pm and Monday the 6th from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.

18.01.2022 It's that time of year again, time get out the paint and brushes, as the Art and Photography show for 2017 is getting closer every day. This year's show will be held at the Globe Theatre, Winchelsea, with the Opening night and Awards Presentation being on evening of Friday November 3rd, commencing at 7.30pm. The doors open at 10am on Saturday the 4th and close at 5pm. The times are the same on the Sunday the 5th. Monday the 6th, the times are 10am until 4pm.

15.01.2022 The Childrens section at this years Art& Photography Show was a huge success, the theme being the "Melbourne Cup". Standing beside the display are 3 of the winners, well done girls.

14.01.2022 Pat McKenzie (pictured below) You can see all Pat's work on her Facebook page. We are so privileged to announce to you all that the judge for this years Art section will be Pat McKenzie. Pat's artistic journey began seriously after moving to live permanently on a farm at Airys Inley in 1995. Surrounded by farm animals as well as the occasional native animal plus the nearby National Park and only 5 minutes from the Great Ocean Road, there is much to give her inspiration. Pat w...orks in all mediums, depending on the subject matter, with no real preference but enjoys them all. Pat has won many awards for her work, she has also held 3 solo exhibitions in Melbourne as well as exhibited at the Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery in Aireys Inlet and the Wintergarden, Geelong. Many of her paintings are now hanging in the private collections both in Australia and Internationally. Pat ia a country member of the Victorian Artists Society. See more

13.01.2022 Sally Ford from Moriac was our guest Artist today at the Art & Photography Show. Sally was kept busy all afternoon, work on a piece as well as a lot of meeting & greeting people. Thank you & well done from us all at the Show.

13.01.2022 The Winners of people's choice from the art & photography show were photography it was a tie between Rome Eames "Golden Tube" and Kevin Ways "Early morning in Kyneton". In art the winner was Kerry Knight with "Mate". Thank you to all the people who voted throughout the weekend. All other results should be in the Winchelsea Star on Tuesday.

02.01.2022 Still plenty of time to get along to the Art & Photography Show, it's on for the next couple of days at the Globe Theatre, Willis Street, Winchelsea. There are some lovely works in both Art and Photography and most of them are for sale. Also the Devonshire Teas are to die for, see you there.

A big thank you to John who made all the scones fresh daily, using a recipe that has been in his family for hundreds of years. Thank you John.

01.01.2022 Here are all the winners from this the 16th Winchelsea Uniting Church Art & Photography Show 2015. They are not in any order and some of the photos taken by me do not do the works justice, please forgive me for this but I am blaming the light or lack of & reflections. A very well done to all winners, but most of all thank you to all of you who entered. We had a record 240 paintings & 80 works in the Photography section.
