24.01.2022 HAPPY WORLD VET NURSE DAY to our wonderful nurses! These girls run purely on the fumes of caffeine most days and without them we would barely be able to function! Rhondy, Jen and Casey are an extension of us and we are grateful to have such fantastic nurses who read our minds and act like an extra hand of ours a lot of the time. Along with our other lovely Rhonda on reception, Deb at our Winchelsea clinic and our after school girls Chiarra and Jewel - we appreciate everything you all do for us!

18.01.2022 HAPPY EASTER! We could like to wish a very happy Easter to our wonderful clients, staff, patients and every person and pet in between. Both our Colac and Winchelsea clinics are CLOSED Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday - we will resume normal hours from Tuesday.... As always, we provide an on call emergency service should you need us over the weekend throughout these regions. Enjoy your long weekend, stay HOME, and remember that plenty of our treats are toxic to our pets. This includes chocolate (all types), hot cross buns (sultanas/raisins) and artificial sweeteners. Again, thankyou for your understanding during these uncertain times - we are grateful for your cooperation to enable us to remain open and continue providing a service to you all. Colac/Winchelsea Vet Clinic Afterhours: 5232 1792 P.S. head over to our INSTAGRAM page colacvet for a pop quiz. Answers are in this post

02.01.2022 PUPPIES!! This gorgeous litter of sleepy Cocker Spaniel puppies were in our clinic for their first vaccination, microchip and vet check This first visit to the vets is extremely important in a pups life, where they can be examined head to toe to ensure they are fit and healthy to go to their new forever homes. ... Vaccinations are an integral part of ensuring the health and wellbeing of your puppy, and continue to be throughout their life. After their initial 2-3 injection series as puppies, dogs require a booster shot every year. So check your vaccinations are up to date today! 02.01.2022 As previously introduced on our story, Josie is a gorgeous 12 week old pup who is the latest edition to one of our wonderful farming clients. You wouldn’t tell from here, but last Friday Josie was bitten by a snake and needed emergency treatment Josie was brought straight in and Penny treated her immediately. Josie showed a full recovery in a very short amount of time, and is going fantastically. She sure is one lucky pup ... If you happen to remember last weeks weather - it was wintery, cold and rainy - not very snakey at all. So please be aware that snakes are out and about! Be careful, and contact us immediately if you have any suspicion, remember we provide a 24/7 service
