20.01.2022 Winchelsea Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full time, part time or casual veterinarian to join our growing young team! We pride ourselves on a professional and caring service with the latest equipment, up to date protocols and treatments and a great work / life balance. Our workplace culture is also something we strive to nuture, as a happy workplace equals happy clients! We currently have two part time vets and are looking for a third vet member! We are looking for a vet wh...o holds at least two years experience and is willing to work sole charge with a very supportive experienced nurse team. The position would require 90% small animal work with a small amount of mixed practice. As the town is growing, the companion animal sector is also growing. We also service large animals if required. Call outs are infrequent but may be required. There will be no overtime / after-hours or public holiday commitments. The ideal candidate would work Mondays and Fridays (8am 6pm) and two out of three Saturdays (8am 12pm) however there is an option to negotiate this. We pay above award rates also and payment is weekly. Our clinic is new, beautiful and in a great location!!! We have in house Idexx biochemistry and hematology machines, Radincon DR Xray with ability for equine extremity imaging, Ultrasound, IM3 dental equipment, a surgical suite, treatment room, separate canine and feline consult rooms / hospital wards and a dedicated call out car! Even though infection was found, it was found that she had a little bladder stone causing her discomfort.
