19.01.2022 Have you ever made your own ricotta? It's really very easy and a great way to use up milk that's close to it's use by date. To 2lts of @schulzorganicdairy milk add a pinch of salt and in a heavy based pot slowly bring to about 90C. Lower heat and add 1/3 cup of either vinegar or lemon juice, turn off heat and let sit for about 15 minutes. Strain into a colander lined with muslin cloth and leave to drain to desired moisture level. This ricotta made its way into a pumpkin, spinach and ricotta lasagne. #shoplocal #winchelseawholefoods #schulzorganicdairy #ricotta #zerowaste

12.01.2022 We’re off on a new adventure! After 5 months of maternity leave with our beautiful Jack, I will not be returning to Winchelsea Wholefoods. Instead, Chad has been given the opportunity to work on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, so we are packing up and heading over (tomorrow!!) This is my fabulous sister in law, Sarah Overton, who will be the new store manager ... Thank you so much to every single person who has supported my store. There were many people who thought a wholefoods shop in Winchelsea would never work. But we are nearing our 2nd birthday and will absolutely be here for many more years to come! It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later Sarah x
