Our team of 4 babies had a great day, 1st place heifer 16-18 months... 1st place Bull 14-16 months 1st place Bull 12-14 months 2nd place Bull 12-14 months. 18.01.2022 Great couple of days at our first show with a new team of cattle. Great to catch up with our friends and experience a wonderful new 80m indoor arena, it was certainly appreciated when the variable Blayney weather rolled in . Thank you Meg Dunford for all your effort co-ordinating a full house of beef cattle. We were awarded Interbreed Champion Bull with our 13 month old calf Winchester Lock & Load Q1E (P). And also won the Interbreed Breeders Group of 3. ... Thank you to Will Van Gend and Chris & Sam Garvin for your help getting the cattle through their classes

17.01.2022 The Canobolas Fire is close enough to make us uncomfortable but the weather has been in our favour. Thanks to the Rural Fire Service and the many volunteers that are doing an absolutely awesome job. Stay safe everyone.

16.01.2022 Our junior team is all set for Sydney Royal 2017. Winchester Honor L21E is loving being back in her own right after helping her mum to last years Supreme Exhibit award.

15.01.2022 We have recently returned from Western Australia where I had the privilege to Judge at Perth Royal. The warm hospitality shown to us made our stay very enjoyable. We saw some excellent cattle. We also secured a new walking sire Venturon Maximum Impact. Homozygous Polled, born unassisted at 41kg from a lovely big bodied cow. He had an impressive 98 sq cm of EMA @ 9 months of age. Thank you to the Thompson family for the opportunity to secure this exciting young bull.

14.01.2022 First outing for our Sydney team at Blayney show was a big success. Our 16 month old heifer Winchester Honor L21E (homo polled) was the Interbreed Champion Female. Great to catch up with friends and give the team a day out. Winchester Leopold L26E (P) was the champion Charolais Bull. Thanks to the committee and Graham Williams for you judging also well done to PC Angus for interbreed bull.

11.01.2022 Winchester Cadillac H36E (P), at 6 years of age. As sound as you can make a set of feet and super temperament as well. Hes out in a commercial herd thumping out heavy calves for his owners year in year out...they love him. Interestingly hes also a sleep at night calving ease bull which adds another dimension to him. We might have to collect him for our stud heifer AI. PM me if your interested in any.

11.01.2022 Home safe and soundish from the National Showcase where our two girls had a great time with their Heifers. Isla at her first ever show had an absolute ball. Miley also had a blast and continued with her success and love of all things cow. In the sale ring Winchester Maximus topped the sale at $14000 selling to Springside Farms Charolais in Canada. Thank you to Mike Panasiuk for being so great to deal with. We wish you every success and cant wait to see how he produces for y...ou. We averaged $9000 on our bulls. Well done to the Breeders and the committee for putting this event together. A special thanks to everyone for helping out and your concern when things went a little pair shaped.

Results; Interbreed Champion Female, Winchester Honor M11E.... Interbreed Group of 3 Winchester Charolais. And our New herd Sire Venturon Maximum Impact was the Grand Champion Charolais Bull and went very close to being the Interbreed bull of the show. Well done Chris Garvin and family. Rain makes corn, smiles, oats, whiskey and embryos from our great young cows that were destined for Sydney Royal and onto the biggest show Australian Charolais has had for a while at the World Congress. We cant plan for the pandemic, but we can make sure these girls get the opportunity to stamp their tattoo on our history here at Winchester... looking forward to exciting times and working with these guys.
